Success Corporation, ININ Games, and Studio Saizensen have announced three upcoming special physical editions for Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! The title is an upcoming party game that features a variety of characters from multiple series. Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! will launch on multiple platforms this Summer.
All three editions will come in limited quantities. If players want a certain version of the game as a collector’s item, they’ll have to move fast. Players who don’t want any bonuses can download the game digitally when preorders are available or on the release date.
The special physical editions will be available in Europe, America, and Australia.
The physical editions will only be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Players can choose from the Standard retail edition, Steelbook edition, or Collectors’ Edition.
The standard retail edition comes with the game in a case with an instruction card. The digital version only contains the game.
The Steelbook edition comes with the game, instruction card, manual, variant cover, and original Steelbok featuring characters from the game. Each Steelbook is individually numbered. There are only 1,500 editions of the PS4 version and 2,500 editions for the Switch to be distributed worldwide.
The Collector’s Edition contains everything from the Steelbook edition, along with the original soundtrack, hardcover art book, four stickers, large two-sided poster, 22 character cards, all inside a hardcover box with a magnetic lock.
The Collectors Edition is an exclusive sold through the Strictly Limited Games Partner Shop. Only 700 copies are available for PS4 owners and 1,500 copies for the Switch.

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! is a fast-paced action game. Players have to clear the stage of any enemies by using various combos with their weapons. Levels contain hazardous platforms, obstacles, and enemy sea creatures.
The game has 22 characters from various Japanese games to use in multiplayer battles for 2 to 4 players online or in co-op. Some of the characters include the heroine from the bullet-hell series Cotton and RPG Doki Doki Poyacchio, along with some newcomers to the game. The primary Challenge mode has 40 stages that can be completed alone or with a friend.
Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! is scheduled to release in July for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The PC version via Steam is available now.
