Netmarble has announced that pre-registration is now available for their new mobile game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.
The game is available on both the App Store and Play Store.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross was previously released in Korea and Japan in 2019.
The Seven Deadly Sins is a manga series in 2012 and is now an ongoing anime adaptation. The fantasy show made its way to Netflix for two seasons and a movie. With the popularity of the show, Netmarble launched an app game last year featuring characters from the series.
The app description story summary states: “The continent of Britannia has come to life! The Holy War that ended 3,000 years ago begins anew. Experience high-resolution 3D animated cutscenes and prepare for the Holy War alongside the characters of The Seven Deadly Sins.”
The gameplay features a turned-based RPG, including card-based content. Netmarble stated early on that there are additional in-app purchases included. There are strategy elements involved in creating the best teams to use their “Ultimate Moves” to win against tough opponents.
Players can create unique teams to control. Players are customizable from their outfits, hairstyles, and other accessories.
The game features some multiplayer. Gamers can fight in PvP combat, including a “Death Match” between two players. There is also PvE combat where friends can team up to defeat demons before the timer winds down.
Outside of battle, players can use AR to bring their characters to life. There are also other Easter eggs in-store within the game.
Although players don’t have to pre-register, there are benefits. They include exclusive rewards and early bonus content late players won’t get access to. Players who pre-register will receive the protagonist as an in-game character, one bonus costume, 100k gold (the main currency), 40 diamonds (the premium currency that comes as an additional price), a treasure rove filled with extra content for the heroine, and more.
The game will be available for multiple languages in time for its global release. Languages include English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, and Traditional Chinese.
As of now, the release date for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross states March 31, 2020, but may be released earlier or later than planned.
