Given that this game includes not one, not two, but three games, that’s an incredible deal worth checking out. Even if you’re not familiar with the Uncharted series, this collection is worth the download. You’ll experience some of the best action/platforming games around today. The collection includes: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

The first game original debuted in 2007 for the PS3. It was a staple for PlayStation gamers, who were pleased with the game’s story and easy-to-pick-up controls. It revolves around Drake and a companion reporter, Elena. Both set off on an adventure to find a mysterious treasure near El Dorado. This game does a great job at setting the stage for one of the most iconic video game characters ever.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves improved upon the successful elements found in the original, with an even more emotionally-gripping story. It sees Drake partner up with Chloe and Elena as they search for the Cintamani Stone. All the while, they have to battle a villainous mercenary group orchestrated by Harry Flynn and Zoran Lazarevic. Like the first game, the sequel is filled with plenty of plot twists and memorable moments.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is one of the most well liked installments in the series. Drake is back with his mentor Victor Sullivan, who are looking for the Iram of the Pillars — a legendary lost city. Like the previous two installments, Drake must battle against a mercenary group run by Katherine Marlowe, Sullivan’s former employer.

Every one of these games is full of gripping storylines. That’s one thing you can always take comfort in when playing an Uncharted game. There is some grand adventure that awaits and interesting villains trying to put a stop to your honest pursuits. Each game also has amazing voice-acting, platforming mechanics, and shooting action.

You would be hard-pressed to find fault in any one of these installments, really. You feel like you’re watching a big-budget action movie play out in front of your own eyes. The PS Plus membership really is doing its members a solid with this collection. It’s probably the best way to be introduced to this series or perhaps come back to it after several years.
