Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta is already live since Sept. 26, and the expected hiccups are slowly surfacing.

Fans who registered for the open beta have experienced the game first-hand. And some have become luckier than others in terms of the quality of kills. For instance, SilentInSUB posted a photo on Reddit showing Col. Cole D. Walker lying dead on the ground. His eyes are open, and the player is standing over him with his gun trained on the colonel.

The Reddit user wrote that he made it out of the crash site and stumbled into an “old friend.” Does this mean he beat the game?

He explained that he was looking for three choppers. After finding the second chopper, you will see the colonel shoot somebody. You then race off to go to the third helicopter. He narrated that he fought off about five enemies then he saw the colonel shuffling around the bikes.

His reward in killing Walker is staring at him for several seconds. Of course, he was wondering if that was supposed to happen.

Col. Cole D. Walker is played by Jon Bernthal, who also played The Punisher in the Netflix series.

It’s now four years after the events of Ghost Recon Wildlands. You play Lt. Col. Anthony Perryman aka Nomad. You are a special forces operative, the best among the best. You are deployed on the fictional island of Auroa located in the Pacific Ocean. You are sent there following some disturbing reports on Skell Technology, which is a military contractor on the island. The company is owned by Jack Skell, who specializes in weaponized drone technology. Apparently, the company has been tagged as responsible in an assassination.

Then you find out that Col. Walker, played by Jon Bernthal, has gone rogue. The whole island is under control by Sentinel, a private contractor working for Walker. The colonel, meanwhile, is leading select mercenaries called Wolves. They are using Skell Technology to equip themselves with the latest weaponry to become alpha predators. You must use your wits and skills as a Ghost operator to take down Walker and the Wolves.

If you are interested, you can still sign up for the beta. You have to be quick, though. The Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta servers will close on Sept. 29, 2019, at 10 PM GMT. The game is available Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation 4 starting next month.
