Square Enix has ± spawned a fun little question on Twitter, sending the Bravely Default fans into a frenzy. “What is your #BravelyDefault Flying Fairy HD Remaster job?” And, oh, the answers have been fabulous: From Salve Maker to Summoner, folks have been busy designing their perfect build for the remaster. Let’s admit it-that’s the kind of wholesome chaos the JRPG community lives for.
Going to RobbieTheBoo for nabbing the “Salve Maker” job out of the box. If you didn’t get to experience the original, this job was slayed on a meta, yet understandable level. Making potions that grant huge buffs or debuffs? The ultimate meta-chess moves that turned a mere turn-based combat into a walk in the park. So yes, Robbie was indeed right saying Salve Maker was very deadly if used correctly. Like levels of accidental one-shotting-the-final-boss.
Mayo (´∀`) is just… content. No elaboration. Just vibes. Sometimes just cannot explain why a job class connects with your soulful being. Meanwhile, Francesco Poli is out here defending the Summoner like it’s no big deal. Summoners have come to be flashy and in Bravely Default, they are no less flashy. We are talking big spells, big damage, big ego-what’s not to love?
Johnny Collado hits us with the classic “Love this class” phrase, never specifying which one. Just about almost killed me out of curiosity. Meanwhile, meyerpark takes the opportunity for a demand for an Xbox release. That’s pretty bold, considering Bravely Default has always been Nintendo’s darling. But hey, money doesn’t go for dreams, does it?
Witcher ⚔️ (yes, that really is his display name) decided to blow off the question and demand a Just Cause revival instead. Listen, we respect your hustle, but maybe next time, read the room? Travis Anderson took a simple approach: “Spell Fencer let’s go.” Clearly, the man holds culture. Spell Fencers were the consummate blend of magic and swordplay, and frankly, we are here for it.
Okelfo brought up Dragoons (or Valorids, depending on the game), and we can’t hold them to it. Never gets old jumping high into the air and coming down to a crater. Then 𝒹𝒾𝒶𝜗𝜚 just asked, “Am I good??🤔” with zero context. Mood. Straight-up mood.
Curaga ✨ said they just got the job in their playthrough; completely wild coincidence, or the Deities of Bravely Default might be looking. Meanwhile, Traumvita was all business, going on to demand Square Enix get publisher rights away from Nintendo so Bravely Default 2 can be cheaper. For a noble cause, eh.
Zeruchaimu went on to show off; meanwhile, kevin3seven admitted to being not about that key card life. RonimeShirai is living their best life as Summoner/White Mage or Scholar; versatility, my friends. Nechronus wrapped the releases by reminiscing about Dark Knight and Ninja on the 3DS, and hyped for a full physical release.
Now, what’s the gist? Bravely Default’s job system is, to this day, still very much discussed amongst the gaming community. Min-maxers, roleplayers, or people just looking for good vibes have a job to look into. And with another HD remaster out, this might be the right time to come back-and maybe experience it for the first time. Now, if you would excuse us, all three of us are off to find the most broken theoretical job combo: Salve Maker/Spell Fencer.
