Now that we’re less than three weeks away from the release of WWE 2K20, developer 2K Sports has finally decided to show new gameplay from their annual pro wrestling game. Unfortunately, they didn’t decide to show raw gameplay, as it was all packaged together in a short, quick-cut trailer. So, while they did show gameplay, 2K hardly showed anything brand new.

In the trailer, which can be seen below, Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend” character was featured, as well as the Bump in the Night DLC, in which Wyatt is a big part of. It also featured a ton of both cover stars Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch, who are both big parts of the game’s single-player content.

Last week, 2K revealed the details for the WWE Universe mode in 2K20, which has gotten a few much-needed improvements. Among them are thousands of new dialogue options, re-shot cut scenes, and brand new rivalry options. On top of that, show cards can now feature more matches and segments than ever before.

Sadly, 2K hasn’t mentioned anything about the General Manager mode, which fans have been begging for since the last time it was featured in a WWE game back in 2008. Of course, the mode was replaced with the WWE Universe mode, which is similar, but far less popular.

Over the summer, the General Manager mode was teased by WWE star Xavier Woods, who is heavily involved in the promotion for WWE 2K20. But, unless 2K announces it as part of a post-launch DLC package, it looks like the General Manager mode won’t be featured in this year’s WWE game.

In other WWE 2K20-related news, the soundtrack for the annual pro wrestling game was recently revealed, and it’ll feature the following tracks.

  • Banks – “Gimme”
  • Barns Courtney – “99”
  • Bring Me The Horizon ft. Dani Filth – “Wonderful Life”
  • Grandson – “Stigmata”
  • Lil Uzi Vert – “XO TOUR Llif3”
  • Motley Crue ft. Machine Gun Kelly – “The Dirt”
  • Muse – “The Dark Side”
  • Poppy – “Metal”
  • Saweetie – “Icy Girl”
  • The Black Keys – “Lo/Hi”
  • The Misfits – “Hybrid Moments”
  • Watt ft. Post Malone – “Burning Man”

There’s probably only time for one more big announcement regarding WWE 2K20 before it hits consoles and PC later this month, so if the developers are going to announce any additional single-player content that’s going to be included upon release, they’ll do so within the next week or two.
