Obviously, the two biggest reveals regarding the game during Microsoft&#8217;s Xbox conference were that Keanu Reeves will portray a prominent character in the story and that the game will be released on April 16, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As everyone already knows, Cyberpunk 2077 will be an open world first-person shooter, and it looks incredible. So, prior to downloading the game, many are probably expecting that its file size will be gigantic. Well, according to the European PlayStation Store, the file size for the game will be quite large, as it&#8217;ll be around 80GB.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that CD Projekt Red isn&#8217;t finished with the game yet, so the file size could be larger or smaller when the game is officially released in April of next year.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cyberpunk 2077 \u2014 Official Cinematic Trailer | E3 2019\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LembwKDo1Dk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>To compare to CD Projekt Red&#8217;s previous release back in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which was also an open world game, Cyberpunk 2077 is, as of right now at least, a full 30GB larger than its predecessor. Of course, at the time, the third installment of The Witcher franchise was considered to be one of the most gorgeous games on the market, and, to this day, many consider it to be the best open world game of the current generation.<\/p>\n<p>Many were hoping that CD Projekt Red was going to develop a follow-up to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but the studio ultimately decided against doing a sequel to their most popular game simply because they wanted to do something new and different. However, the head of the studio, Marcin Iwinski, recently said that, while they decided to go with a brand new game, the experience will hopefully help them grow, which will ultimately have a positive impact if they decide to develop The Witcher 4.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, the studio is completely focused on putting the finishing touches on Cyberpunk 2077. As of this writing, it&#8217;s unknown whether or not those finishing touches will include adding a multiplayer mode. because so far, the studio hasn&#8217;t said anything about an online-based mode for Cyberpunk 2077.<\/p>\n<p>During E3 week, CD Projekt Red hosted a private viewing event, where they showed an hour of brand new gameplay.
