Zombie hordes are coming in April in this latest third-person shooter game that is based on the popular movie from Paramount Pictures, World War Z.

The World War Z game, surprisingly, only requires light system support to have the game installed.

For its recommended requirements, players should secure the following:

  1. 64 bit Windows 10, DX11 OS;
  2. 16GB RAM;
  3. 20GB storage

The game was announced in the latter part of 2017 and was made exclusive to the Epic Games Store the next year. Recently, game developer Saber Interactive announced that players can now pre-order the game.

The game features four survivors who are together in their struggle to “outlive the dead.”

The story takes on the narrative of humanity reeling on the brink of extinction with the undead consuming the survivors.

Left alone, a person will stand no chance to the hordes of zombies. Some will find similarities between World War Z and the survival-horror first-person shooter, Left 4 Dead.

However, World War Z is more unique with a Player vs. Player vs. Zombie gameplay.

There will be two teams with four players who will try to wipe out one another in the midst of hordes of the undead rolling, flying, running, and gnashing their way to the survivors.

Here are the other game modes of World War Z:

  1. Scavenge Raid – In this mode players will race to gather resources across a map to win the game.
  2. Swarm Deathmatch – This game mode features two teams who will play against each other to the end.
  3. Swarm Domination – Players need to capture zones in this game mode to earn points for their teams and win a victory.
  4. Vaccine Hunt – Those who have watched the movie knows that finding a vaccine takes up most of the protagonist’s journey. In the game, they made the hunt for a cure as a game mode where players need to pick up an object to get points for his team.
  5. King of the Hill – This mode would need players to capture one hill and control it to gain victory points.

World War Z is now available for pre-order from the Epic Games Store.
