Then, I stumble on this post on Armored Core, and nostalgia hits me right in the face. When did you guys all start doing the mecha jam? I remember my very first time playing that game, and I thought, whoa, giant robots!
A deluge of replies came in, and they sure pulled on my heartstrings. One guy, âporkboy321â, said he found a demo disc in a game shop, and man, those demo days were something to look forward to! I mean, slotting in that demo and going off to experience a whole different universe-boom! Speaking of which, warm fuzzies just hit me, just like how my cat just pushed my glass of water in my lap. Thanks, Mittens!
Then BitBullVault comes on and says itâs been ages since he played, and same here. Explore 4, and suddenly here we are in 2023, and I havenât stepped in a mech suit for ages! He claims, âArmored Core 3â was his first. LOL, I see you, buddy. Armored Cord? Quite the shot there. But weâve all been there, typing so fast that autocorrect messes it all up!
DecayUnborn says he made a straight-up video on his first experience. Come on; Iâd be lucky to clean my room, let alone make a video⊠that said, respect!
Now serious scorched feelings from ___Briggy come in like âI never even entered one,â then something about the companies should put more brains in their DEI work. Like, what? Dude, this is a gaming thread! Chill! Although I kinda feel him, though; sometimes it does make you feel they care more about what they have to say than what to actually do about it in-game.
Out comes âfourOhFourNFdevâ about sitting in front of a CRT, where the first one was played, at four in the morning? What a throwback! That polygon therapy during those days; such a good feeling! Now all shiny and realistic, which I totally miss.
And that one reply was just, âput em all on the PS5â? YES, PLEASE! Who doesnât want to mech it up on the newest console? But of course, thereâll always be that one guy to jump in: âNo thanks, I want newer stuff,â this time, âdallas4psnâ. Câmon, man, canât we just enjoy both?
Pretty much, Iâve been considering diving into the mech wars all day long now. With the weather being totally uncooperative outside, why waste an entire day just button-mashing and blowing stuff up?
Wait, what was I saying? Oh, yeah; Armored Core. Just suit up for those who havenât checked it out or are just starting. Just donât blame me when youâre losing track of time. And, like I was saying about losing track, my fellow coworker dudes just popped in all dressed up in some unbelievable hat. What on Earth?
That wraps up my rant. Until next time, gamers! Stay salty and keep your mechs gassed! đŠŸ
