It is Easter time; folks, get those bunny ears on and get hopping because the Easter Event is live! In the seasonal update just released by Gaijin Entertainment, there is a lot of egg-citing (sorry!) stuff: rewards, wild cosmetics, and pure chaos painted in pastel. The event runs until 08:00 CET, April 22, so hurry up and grab things before they are all gone.
Easter Eggs are the new thing (it ends on enemy weak points), but with a twist-the enemies are now adorably flaunting bunny ears. Yup, War Thunder has been given a fluffy style from ever-so-violent combat.
After enough eggs have been collected, they may be traded by players for special event projects, which unlock some cosmetic stuff and other rewards.
Have a scroll through the Gaijin official account for lots of emoji action there: 🐰🐣🎁; emphasizing the fun escape from obliterating tanks. Not to mention who wouldn’t blow a Panzer with big bunny ears being on her tank!
The weird part is, the tweet has zero replies. Yeah, none. That’s wild for a game with such loudmouthed (and sometimes… let’s say passionate) fans. You’d think at least one person would be hammering on about BR adjustments or calling out the historical inaccuracies of bunny ears. But no. Just silence.
Maybe they’re too busy grinding eggs to complain? Or quite possibly the level of randomness blew that much away any War Thunder Reddit hivemind. Either way, it’s a rare moment of peace for a game whose forum is usually a war zone itself.
When you log on, keep an eye on those weak spots. Egg hunting in War Thunder could use further relaxation! Great prizes, though! If you miss it? There’s always next year interface unless Gaijin thinks bunnies were a one-off.
