The Champions 2025 Collection is now available in VALORANT until October 9, 2025, and the community reaction is, well, really loud. An explosion of all kinds of opinions going around. Some good, some bad, and a whole lot of confused ones.
What does this bundle contain, you ask? The latest limited-time cosmetic set released for VALORANT Champions Tour skins, including weapon skins, a finisher, and other exclusivities for players to pick up as they show their support for the esports scene. But somehow, this time some fanfarers aren’t so thrilled.
The player base was soon crying out their versions in the replies after its announcement. That’s the wonderful part, this is a mixed bag. Some aren’t totally loving it. Another tells us, “Best champs skin yet” while another says, “Unfortunately for my wallet, this is a cop.” And then, there are way too many who simply cannot buy into it.
The sound design probably opposed that because Kalaser was very straightforward in his opinion: “The Song on the Finisher & Flex is ass jesus. The previous one´s were so much better.” That is very honest feedback right there.
With that were, of course, the classic pricing argument that erupts every time a bundle comes out: “Prices are outrageous; you basically have to spend 30 just to get the vandal skin,” said one player. And yes, VALORANT’s premium cosmetics have had to listen to those complaints for quite some time now. The bundles are not cheap, and the players are all too familiar with sinking their cash into them.
And then came all sorts of reactions for the look of it. Others think it’s loud almost identical to previous Champions bundles, with Strafe Esports stating it “looks like every champs bundle ever but shinier.” Oh, and others are just harsher, “I’m sorry but this looks fucking horrible? why is it built like a rectangle😭😭”-sometimes the very honest feedback comes with cry-laugh emojis, you know?
But wait-there are few that are praising some of the new takes Riot has taken with the bundle this time around. “I’m really happy yall slowed down the butterfly animations. It looks so much better. The older ones spin so fast that you can barely see what’s happening,” said one player-a little bit of satisfaction, at least, for some of the visual changes.
Then of course, you have the typical polarizing comments-the ones declaring the game dying and the ones willing to stay invested. From “Dead game. Riot is a joke” to “we are ALLLLL buying,” pretty much sums up the two extremes that exist in the VALORANT community.
Worldwide reactions are the ones celebrating in various tunes with a few shouting at the top of their lungs: “É HOJEEEE PORRA”-thick with excitement, nonetheless ranging with every passing opinion.
Although the interesting part is that some players are already strategizing the skins. One player jokingly says, “Time to play Sage and ask people to drop it :D”; it’s actually a pretty good plan if you don’t want to spend money yourself. Just main support and pray your teammates feel generous.
The other redditor made an anti-cheat remark: “Instead of making skins make an anti-cheat that works on console it’s full of PlayStation players under cronus” -which is fair, but also unrelated to the skin bundle? But that’s just how these conversations go sometimes.
Availability for a month? Oh no, the bundle will actually live for a whole year, far beyond what has been the case with most previous limited-time offerings. Now, they’d surely have time on their hands to contemplate splashing some cash for the collection or just waiting out for the next one.
VALORANT players are really passionate about their cosmetics. Love it or hate it, one way or another, they can’t keep quiet about it. And that’s what Riot wants-people discussing, debating it, and a great chunk of them will have their wallets out in front of the screen to get that digital bling.
The Champions 2025 Collection is available now, and it will be a point of interest to watch exactly how many players put the skins in their games over the upcoming months. Judging by the reaction, half would be strutting in their skins while the other half makes fun of them. That’s how it’s always been, and that’s the competitive gaming for you.
