California-based gaming accessories company Turtle Beach yesterday announced two new additions to the lauded Atlas PC line. The two new products include the Elite Atlas Aero Wireless High-Performance PC Headset and Atlas Edge PC Audio Enhancer.
“Aero is an innovative addition to our highly-acclaimed premium Elite line of headsets, as we’re working with the GRAMMY award-winning Waves team, integrating their Nx audio which takes surround sound to entirely new levels by giving gamers full 3D audio in every game they play,” said Turtle Beach CEO Juergen Stark.
The Elite Atlas Aero is designed with competitive gamers, streamers and PC users in mind. It boasts plowerful 50 mm Nanoclear speakers and a high-sensitivity microphone for crisp sound and crystal clear communication during those intense team player battles. Waves Nx audio technology and Waves Maxx Technology sound enhancements allow for easy customization on the Turtle Beach’s Control Studio software.
Regarding the design, comfort is among the things Turtle Beach enhances in these new gaming headphones. The sleek metal headband and floating cushion relieve pressure off your temple. The Elite Atlas Aero boasts a wireless design for convenience and a rechargeable battery capable of 30 hours.
To get the most out of the exclusive Turtle Beach’s Control Studio, you will need the Atlas Edge PC Audio Enhancer. It activates functions like the immersive Waves Nx 3D audio, which creates a 3D sound experience. There’s also Waves Maxx technology, and PC-optimized Superhuman Hearing, just to mention a few.
This audio enhancer features a standard 3.5mm female jack with connection to any passive wired gaming headset. The 70-inch cable works great with any PC gaming configuration. For now, it’s hard to tell whether this will be a great addition to a gamer’s set up, but once it is revealed and tested by third parties.
Turtle Beach has revealed that the two new gaming accessories will be showcased during the upcoming Gamescom 2019 which will be held from 21 to 24 August in Cologne, Germany. Fans will be able to experience the premium sound of the Atlas Aero and the magic of Atlas Edge.
The release dates for the two is sometimes at the end of September. Regarding the pricing, the Elite Atlas Aero Wireless High-Performance PC Headset will have a $150 price tag.
