So, gamers, hold onto your seats because Treyarch has really spoiled Black Ops 6 players with these monster weekends. Like, seriously. There was no small second XP weekend this time; it was so much bigger than that. Those are the weekends when you start canceling on everyone and telling your friends you are sick when, in reality, you are grinding levels.

So, what really is the truth? Well, for now, in Black Ops 6, you get 2XP, 2WXP, 2X Battle Pass XP, AND 2X GobbleGum Earn Rate. That’s like… crazy multipliers. It’s going to feel like rushing through levels this weekend, and your head is going to spin a little from it. But wait, there are more great things coming your way! They also saw fit to launch two brand new things, including the Multiplayer Blueprint Gunfight (sounds so cool) and Zombies Leaderboard Event, “No Cranked, No Glory.” OKAY, that name hits super hard.

Naturally, the community got totally sobers in the replies. Within minutes of the tweet being posted, the players were spamming requests and demands. There is something hilarious about the quick transition, “thanks for the event” to “FIX THIS NOW TREYARCH.”

Players are screaming about one of the largest issues: Disbanding lobbies! Multiple responses simply go, all caps, “REMOVE DISBANDING LOBBIES,” which… mood. I gather that there are leaks from trusted sources like Ghost of Hope and Reality UK informing that Treyarch is trying to champion no disbanding lobbies? That one is going to be a biggie, though. Because no one likes being forced into a new lobby after every match. It kills the vibe, you know?

And then there’s that zombie gang. Oh Lord, those zombie players are so passionate. Way too many replies begging carry forward to come back to zombies. One guy literally said “Bring back carry forward for zombies and I would be glad to hop on,” so real. Like, they’re withholding their gameplay until their demands are met. Power move.

One random man also told someone to “find a wife, find a job, take a shower, and stop video games” in response to someone who had stated he’d been level 1000 since season 1. That’s cod community toxicity at its finest, honestly. Classic.

Then the next would be a random request for boxing gloves in the armory? Another wants tiny maps to be re-opened for free-for-all in custom games. And, of course, there’s always one who’s done with it all and waiting for Black Ops 7. Like, damn – we just got BO6, and you’re already on the next? Chill.

But amidst all the madness, there’s real hype as well. One player said they’re “so hyped for Zombies Week next week,” which yeah, that’s probably going to be insane. And Blueprint Gunfight? This is actually a fresh idea. Unlike regular Gunfight, where you fight with whatever guns you want, this mode lets you use blueprints, which brings a whole new layer of strategy and cool factor.

It’s insane how much the community ends up dumping feedback all at once during these announcement tweets. Treyarch probably has a full team of folks just spreadsheeting these replies and taking notes. Or maybe they just shut it down. Who knows.

The Quad Feed weekends are always a big deal in the COD world. Think of it as concentrated bursts of progression where you pump out maxed guns, get a maxed battle pass rank, and just fill yourself with proud accomplishment. I mean, 2X everything? If you’ve been slacking at all, it may be the best times to go crazy with grinding.

Also, double GobbleGum earn rate truly nailed zombies players in envious payback. Those are consumable things you use in Zombies to give you some happy special effects. GobbleGum is an arduous grind. Double earn rate means buildzapid for the next round.

“No Cranked, No Glory” sounds like a sledgehammer to the face for the hardcore competitive. Leaderboard events are serious business, so you can damn well bet people will be giving it their all to indoctrinate their names in glorious ink at the very top. No cranked? Probably means you try and survive without the cranked mechanic, which adds an interesting layer of difficulty.

Blueprint Gunfight is interesting as blueprints are pre-made weapon variants with unique attachments and skins. So having a gunfight mode where everyone uses blueprints levels the playing field in a real cool way. It’s not just about who has the best custom class but who can use the given blueprint most effectively.

The Quad Feed weekend is just absolutely packed overall. With tons to go down on, Treyarch essentially has been given direct orders to hype the scene for this event. There is something for everyone, other than maybe multiplayer or zombies or just level up your battle pass. Ignore the toxicity while double everything lasts. Maybe one day I won’t wake up to fixed disbanding lobbies too. A gamer can dream.
