Microsoft is offering six games and a two-month-long free subscription three months after launching the Xbox One S.

The Xbox One S is bundled with PUBG, Madden 20, Minecraft, Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 3. The Xbox Live Gold Subscription Cards will also be thrown in with each purchase.

Xbox Live Gold is a subscription service for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It’s one of the requirements for players to access online multiplayer titles. Subscribers also get other benefits like free games or discounts on some games.

The console also allows users to stream 4K videos on Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, and Microsoft Movies, among others. There are more than 1,300 games on the library, which users can download on the console. The Xbox One has a storage capacity of one terabyte.

The Xbox One S bundle is available in North America and the UK. Consumers can expect to shoulder the shipping costs outside of the United States.

The Xbox One S Digital Edition is geared for gamers on a budget. The console was released on May 7, 2019, and it’s $50 cheaper compared to the basic Xbox One console. Microsoft said that it slashed the manufacturing price by eliminating the physical disc drive.

Just like the name suggests, all the contents would be digital. The console will also be paired with the Xbox Game Pass. Those who are subscribed to Netflix will be familiar with how Xbox Game Pass works.

The design of the console is somewhat similar except for the absence of the eject button that accesses the drive. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Jaguar CPU with 8-cores at 1.75GHz. There are three variants, one with a 500GB storage capacity, and the other two are 1TB and 2TB.

Unlike the Xbox One S, which features 12GB of GDDR5, the Digital Edition is equipped with 8GB of DDR3. As to the graphics, the Digital Edition only has 12 CUs compared to the 40 CUs of the Xbox One S. However, Microsoft promises that users won’t notice the performance as the Digital Edition will perform as expected.

Here’s a quick comparison between the Xbox One S Digital Edition and the Xbox One S.

Microsoft has designed the Xbox One S as the gateway into the Xbox universe.

The company also wanted to expand its reach by making sure that the console is affordable to most people.
