Last month, during Gamescom 2019, computer hardware manufacturer GIGA-BYTE Technology Co., Ltd. announced a new gaming monitor, the AORUS FI27Q-P. It has been dubbed the ‘world’s first High Bit Rate 3 tactical gaming monitor.”

‘’The new AORUS FI27Q-P offers exclusive HBR3 features that provide high bandwidth so that gamers will no longer feel limited as they can enjoy high bandwidth at a refresh rate of 165Hz and QHD gaming,’’ said GIGABYTE.

The AORUS FI27Q-P is based on a 27-inch ELED-lit IPS panel with 95% of DCI-P3 color saturation, VESA certified Display400, 350 cd/m2 (TYP) brightness, and 1000 (TYP) contrast ratio. The 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles allow gamers to share their exploits with those around them.

This new GIGABYTE monitor has been designed with competitive 1440p gaming in mind. It is ideal for amateur gamers as well as pro players courtesy of the fast 1ms (MPRT) and 165Hz refresh rate.

Last week, the GIGABYTE FI27Q-P together with the FI27Q were officially certified as NVIDIA® G-SYNC® compatible. This technology guarantees the ultimate smooth gameplay by eliminating screen tearing and stuttering. And it’s not just NVIDIA rigs that suit this monitor; it is also compatible with AMD Radeon FreeSync™ technology.

Besides the excellent display performance, the AORUS FI27Q-P boasts several other exclusive features dedicated to gaming. For those playing shooter games that require the highest accuracy levels, there is GameAssist and also, Aim Stabilizer. There’s also ANC technology which cancels out background noise for the best clarity in the battlefield.

Other features include Black Equalizer 2.0, Dashboard, OSD Sidekick and Picture-in-picture (PIP)/picture-by-picture (PBP) just to mention a few. The monitor also comes with Blue Light Reduction and Flicker-Free technology for eye comfort.

When it comes to connectivity, the AORUS FI27Q-P boasts two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 for signal input. There are also two USB ports, a standard 3.5mm earphone jack but there are no inbuilt speakers.

As far as the design goes, the new GIGABYTE AORUS FI27Q-P is one ergonomic gaming monitor. It offers an extensive range of height, tilt, stroke, pivot, and swivel adjustments. Aesthetically, it is also appealing courtesy of the falcon-inspired style with wing-shaped contours.

Unfortunately, GIGABYTE has not revealed when the GIGABYTE AORUS FI27Q-P will be available in the market. Also, no details regarding the price are available at the moment. But the FI27Q-P will be covered by the newly announced Zero Bright Dot Guarantee which is valid within one year of original purchase.
