Tarsier Studios just dropped a gorgeous teaser for Reanimal, their much-awaited horror game, and all the fans are losing it. The tweet shows that yellow field in Southern Sweden that inspired the gloomy-yet-picturesque aesthetic of the game. Summer vibes plus Tarsier weirdness!
Whatever the case with #horrorgame and #SummerVibes, fans wanted to know all the details, especially about the release date. Honestly, everybody wants to know when will they finally get to hold the box. The praises and demands came in from all directions, making the meeting all about the launch window.
“Surreal beauty, animal themed, horror game…God this game could not be much more my style right now,” wrote @Admiral7bit. He was so right. That blend of a peaceful landscape with ominous overtones is exactly the kind of unsettling beauty Tarsier excels at—like with Little Nightmares.
But, of course, the real big question everybody wants to ask appears: WHEN? “@TarsierStudios Please i need a date to save enough money” and “@TarsierStudios release date plz” were flooding the thread. Even @James_Light bluntly stated, “Give us a date please!!!!!”—The spirit was really there. Well, Tarsier Studios said without so much as a word concerning the matter, leaving the fandom to speculate (and suffer).
Answering the wild arias was @ADiablo89, who truly went all out in said comment (translated from Spanish:”Go to the motherf***ing hell, you and the LN3 team too”). Was he harsh? Perhaps. But, you get this hyped about a game and then get radio silence, it starts to hit right in the feels.
Apart from that, some of the developers, including @babubigames, chimed in to say how wonderful the teaser was, whereas @Jilalike really cried out at “Aaaaaa this is so Beautiful 😭❤️” While @madebytaz went for a simple-and-straight-to-the-point “Looks awesome y’all!”
Then, serious men started planning their finances surrounding this game. @Shinjiten came up with: “Please i need a date to save enough money,” and that’s very relatable. At the same time, @springon53329 cried in Spanish that they wouldn’t be able to play until they upgrade their rigs. The struggle is so real.
@DemNikoArt launched a question about Tarsier showing up at Gamescom, which started a debate. No answers just yet, though if they were to show up with more Reanimal footage? That would be utter chaos.
What can you say? Reanimal is shaping into another visually stunning nightmare from Tarsier Studios. The inspiration from the Swedish countryside adds a beautifully haunting layer, and the fans cannot bear to wait on the one to come. Now, all going to stare at yellow fields and scream into oblivion till then.
Also, by the way, someone commented, “Release in 2040?” and honestly, do not ever put that evil on me.
