And, lo, Mario had come with a sprinkle of niceness! The Super Mario Run app has an in-game event commemorating Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door running till March 23, 11:59 PM PT. You will get really cool in-game statues of Mario and friends as you finish the missions; how nice is that, huh?
Super Mario Run is a jump-and-run game where the player visits different worlds, collecting coins at the same time, trying to beat scores. What a great time for an event like this. I mean, what person does not like to collect in games? And Paper Mario is there! That’s practically a two-for-one deal!
But what do people talk about this event? Pretty excited among the gamers. One gamer named ‘@rayhamImran’ says, “Miss it. Last few hours left to join Super Mario Run event and earn those limited in-game statues!” Sounds like fun racing to the finish line!
Not everyone, however, is very impressed. A player by the login ‘@doodlebobFG’ left a sad face, posting “Nobody plays Mario Run anymore bro😭.” Uh oh, doesn’t sound good for Mario. Is Super Mario Run at all relevant? Most gamers feel it’s time to call it quits.
Another gamer adds much distress to it, @timothyjblue: “@NintendoAmerica ya shutdown miitomo but mario run is still up and getting updates im hurting💔🤧🥲.” Looks like some of the fans are being neglected a little. They miss other games and want more.
