Simple exciting: Three factions full of the biggest names in the industry, including xQc, Shroud, TenZ, Summit1g, TimTheTatman, Nadeshot, Scump, Mendo, and m0xy. You can imagine what kind of firepower this is. Each kill earns points for the team, and based on the teams’ final standing, rewards will be unlocked. There is a catch though. This decision is forever locked in. You shall not switch sides during the event.

Players hype up the lineup. “Aimgods with 3 top-tier shooters vs. TimTheTatman who struggles with every game… lol,” someone said, predicting that it will be an easy win for Shroud and TenZ’s squad. Nybz says, “I love the 3 different factions having their own logo. Good sh*t!”Some other users are quite excited about the faction logos.

Well, there are also some dissenting voices. Some gamers are not pleased with the roster, like OrangeCircled who literally said, “This makes me not even wanna try your game. All these ppl are grade-A scumbags.” That’s quite harsh. Some others, though, are worried about matters much more important—like queue times for console players or whether players will be able to select their rewards if their team doesn’t sweep.

Rewards are probably his biggest gripe. One player named Alexis desperately wants to know, “How can I get that Ada Meridian skin???” (No answers yet, but we sympathize, Alexis.) There’s a sudden onset of gamer panic from soupslush: “Oh god oh f*ck I didn’t pick wisely at all.”

Spawn seems to have sparked debate, memes, and much trash-talking. Some are sure Team Shroud will sweep it all. Others swear to kill their fave streamer regardless of the odds being stacked. Lost track of all the original hype? Don’t sweat it; jump in, pick your side, and start fragging.

For everyone wondering about the fate of Capture the Flag, well, MrMegaToons is basically asking if it’s going to make an appearance any time soon. The devs haven’t said anything as yet, but hey, if we all yell into the void, maybe something happens!
