Those craving for more desk space, a futuristic take in screen monitors, and an over-all minimalist vibe will find the new Samsung monitor a great addition to their homes or offices.

On Friday, Samsung announced the release of its Space Monitor built for those who like to take their productivity, viewing, and gaming experience to the next level.

The main take of the new Samsung monitor is its functionality and sleek design. Samsung in its statement said the monitor can make users “focus on what’s on the screen and not what’s around it.” The Space Monitor will be included in Samsung’s featured monitors from January 8 to 11 in Samsung’s CES booth No. 15006 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With a fully-integrated and minimalist arm stand, the Space Monitor allows users to clamp it to their desks freeing up the valuable desk space. The arm stand is unique and users may maneuver it to be hidden at the back of the monitor’s bezel. It is said to be very easy to set up and highly adjustable as users can choose to tilt it, push it flat against the wall, or extend it from the wall.

Whatever angle the user wants to adjust it, you have control with Samsung’s Space Monitor.

What’s more, the Space Monitor reduces the clutter on workspace because of its discreet cable storing system. The monitor’s port access and adjustment functions are also easy to use. That sounds irresistible to people who are geared to dropping the clutter and claiming the simplicity of modern living this year.

The Space Monitor has two variations that both features sharp ultra-detailed and incredibly sharp images – a 32-inch model that displays 4K Ultra High Definition (4K UHD) (3480×2160) content and a 27-inch model that offers Quad HD (QHD) (2560×1440) resolution. It has a 60Hz refresh rate coupled with 4ms response time minimizing the monitor lag and blur.

The name Space Monitor hits the target message if Samsung wanted to convey the freedom to acquire more space when users choose it. The monitor has two Display Ports, an HDMI port, and connectivity for USB 3.0 and headphone.

The Space Monitor is coming out along with Samsung’s CRG9 gaming monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio making it the first ultra-wide and high-resolution gaming monitor out in the market. Samsung also revealed the world’s first 32-inch monitor designed for creators – the UR59C.
