For GTA+ subscribers, Rockstar had added a bunch of perks recently. The gamut of new GTA+ benefits includes free Bravado Buffalo EVX muscle car, new sets of Chameleon Paints, the Blue Manor Hoodie and Shorts, and the option to play GTA III on mobile via the GTA+ Games Library. That is a lot to talk about.
First with the Bravado Buffalo EVX: a mean-looking sleek machine. And it can be purchased at The Vinewood Car Club pretty much for free-the meaning in theory in GTA+-for those who want to reconsider ignoring GTA+ as a free car in GTA Online is such a rarity. Not any car: this being a muscle car has to thunder down the highway with roaring sounds.
Then there are the Chameleon Paints. It’s about time; if you’ve ever felt like your car should just change colors like some flashy sports car from another planet, here’s your jackpot. The paints aren’t just flashy; they’re hypnotic. The Blue Manor Hoodie and Shorts make for a new set of garb to show off while showing off that ride.
Another big one was GTA+ members get bona fide GTA III for mobile. The game which started it all-the 3D era at least-is now in the GTA+ Games Library. Either relive or gorilla, however they want you to have it from Rockstar.
Now, you would think gamers would be ecstatic about this. Some are: like Vadim Wright, who said that GTA+ went from being “meh” to “yeeeesss” with this drop. But just possibly, reactions are… mixed.
And some players remain stuck on GTA VI. Like, really stuck. Replies to Rockstar’s tweets are just flooding with demands for support for the Turkish language in the next game. One player pleaded, “We grew up with your games. Please don’t leave Turkish players behind in GTA VI.” Another player outright demanded, “GTA VI TURKISH SUBTITLES.” Clearly, the hype for the next installment is real, and the gamers aren’t shy about what they want.
Now let me walk in the shoes of a GTA+ hater. BudsNGraps said: “People who have GTA+ should be publicly shamed.” Ouch! On the other hand, FireDragonPaPa admitted, “Even if you gave me 10 million game coins for GTA Online, I won’t have the motivation to log in.” Sounds like one burnt-out grinder.
Then again, not everybody is sour: some are here just for the memes. Defi_Dr3 joked, “‘We got a free Bravado Buffalo EVX before GTA6.” And then you have the ones like RockStation predicting release dates like they are some kind of gaming oracle. When asked about GTA VI pre-orders, the response was, “My guess would be 3 November.” No pressure, Rockstar!
And that basically caps off the drop being a reminder that Rockstar is an expert in retaining the interests of the players-whether they want to be retained or not. Cars for free, paints for sizzling, and a classic for mobile is slowly turning GTA+ into something nobody can overlook. But let’s be honest: Most of the gaming masses are still just waiting for that GTA VI announcement.
So, is this enough to hold players over? Maybe for some. For others, it’s just another day in the never-ending cycle of “Give us GTA VI already.” Either way, once again Rockstar set the internet abuzz.
