Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which has been touted as one of the most gorgeous-ever action platformer games, went for 50% off in this year’s Steam Summer Sale, giving Windows gamers that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at half-price. As some rejoice, others take this opportunity to cry for remasters of the classic titles that dominated PS2 and PS3.

The Insomniac tweet, having just posted a slick image of Ratchet in mid-action, went quite viral with replies. Some were celebrating the discount, while others… well, they had *other* priorities. Like dominic45275148, who straight-up begged: *”Can we please get Ratchet and Clank 1-3 remastered on the PS4/5? Just remaster the PS3 collection to make it easier 😭🙏”* And honestly? Mood. The nostalgia for those early games is real, and the players clearly want them on modern hardware.

Then there was laze91, who dropped a quick two-liner: *”Release the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games on PS5!”* No fluff, no bull—just pure demand. And really, considering Sony is ushering more and more classics into the PS Plus Premium catalog, it’s not such a crazy ask. But for now, since Insomniac hasn’t dropped so much as a hint, the only option is to get down and dirty with those old discs (if you still have a working one).

On the contrary, many would still not be happy about a sale going on for the PC. Then came omegazio, hopefully, on a console-wrangler mode: *”Seeing this on PC pisses me off as a PlayStation gamer. I can guarantee you Nintendo would never allow this if this was their property.”* Yikes. Someone is still a little salty that exclusives are going multiplatform. But hey, at the very least, the PC lot is getting to experience some dimension-hopping chaos now—even if some of these PlayStation hardliners are gving them an evil glare.

Meanwhile, other replies were pure love for Rift Apart. Jordan117 just plainly said, *”I just love this game!”* HolyLightning4 hailed the finish with triple-🙌. Meanwhile, the Kutdown on Gaming gave a confession that they’ve played it enough times to *”know the script.”* Dedication, indeed.

And while we’re rambling, let’s not forget Wolverine fans. Guradianofsol and DulanthaA are again begging for Marvel’s Wolverine info because, apparently, no tweet from Insomniac is exempt from the *”give us a trailer”* crowd. At this point, we’re all waiting for the September PlayStation Showcase (if it even happens).

So, in a nutshell: Rift Apart goes for less than half, and the player’s want more, be it classic remasters, Wolverine info, or a follow-up title. Insomniac has quite a lot to work on, but at least we do know that these things are in demand. And, if you guys excuse me, I need to get this in my cart on Steam before the sale is done.
