The Pokémon Company announced a brand-new set with Ho-Oh ex, Lugia ex, and the legendary Shiny Red Gyarados, thus sending the community into a frenzy. Well, that is the one infamous red beast of the Johto times, now making his grand return in card form.
The announcement surely hit social media like an Hyper Beam! This community immediately flooded the replies. Some were rejoicing for the nostalgia; others were mourning their wallets, while a few just outright questioned such grown-ups’ fixation with Pokémon-it is rude! But what is apparent is that this expansion does strike some nostalgic chords down deep in childhood reminiscence.
