PlayStation has made a great announcement regarding the games which are going to be available for the subscribers in the upcoming month of December and I could not stop myself from stating that? The mixture is quite nice. The lineup contains LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White. These are five games for the price of your subscription that you would possibly consider a good deal particularly in the light of the recent price hike that attracted a lot of complaints.

Mixed is the online users’ response as usual right from the start. Some gamers are immensely thrilled, while others are decrying it as rubbish. But monthly releases are just like that. The line goes quite wide though; there will be family LEGO, horror co-op, a zombie shooter, a mech game, and this super fast-paced action card thing with Neon White. Maybe something for nearly everyone?

Here LEGO Horizon Adventures comes as the major highlight of all the titles. It is a cute blocky version of the Horizon universe which probably looks more fun than it should be. One player, @wcolton2613, mentioned he was almost buying it at GameStop. What a lucky coincidence; you saved a bit, man. And @Cryo_Agun just expressed his gratitude tweeting ‘Lego Horizon !? Thanks @PlayStation‘ along with what seems to be a genuine excitement. The LEGO games always manage to find their audience and merging them with the Horizon’s robot dinosaurs? Likely a winning combination.

Followed by Killing Floor 3. The undead horde shooter is back and @TheKaboomSlayer states “So glad I didn’t buy,” which reflects the ultimate PS Plus subscriber’s mentality. You wait, and the game you kinda wanted just shows up for free. It’s a strategy.

However, the main subject of discussion is The Outlast Trials, a multiplayer horror title where you and your friends can possibly be tortured. Quite a few different users in the comments are praising it. @DaItonYT kindly warned the public, ‘don’t sleep on Outlast trials its great.’ And @F_Keefy was saying ‘Outlast Trials alone gives this the green light.’ So if you are the kind of person who enjoys being scared alongside your friends, this might be the first one to take.

Neon White is also getting some recognition. @leoza_rl said it was ‘fucking bangs,’ which is the highest compliment. And @EnzoPontofrio said it ‘looks fire ngl.’ You are an assassin in heaven or something and you use cards to do parkour and shoot demons; that is the game. It undoubtedly has a niche fan base and now more people will get to see what the hype is about.

Synduality Echo of Ada is the new release that no one is really talking about, the mech game that the comments are ignoring. But it is there nonetheless. Could it be a diamond in the rough? Or it might just not be that great. Only time will tell.

Of course, not every player is happy. There are always the critics. @iamsteezze accused it of being ‘Piss poor again’ and remarked ‘No new good game gets on this service.’ And @_DRB_90 was even more outspoken with his critique, asking ‘Who asked for this bullshit?’ with a crying emoji. That was quite harsh. However, @flacodegato had a more tranquil view, calling it ‘One of the best selections Iโ€™ve seen since this wack ass price increase.’ So at least it is a plus for some people.

There was also this humorous side conversation about a date on December 16th? User @YoshiCookie was just spamming ‘December 16th,’ replying to like five different people asking about something. It doesnโ€™t seem related to the PS Plus games, probably it is about some PS Classics drop. But it was all over the replies, which was quite amusing and confusing at the same time. Just one guy on a mission to inform people about…the 16th.

And then there is the console war stuff because there always is. @melaogamer_XD threw Microsoft into the spotlight by commenting ‘Sony 5 monthly games. Xbox 30 dollar price for fortnite crew. I am regretting getting an xbox instead of a ps5 ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€.’ Ouch! I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

So what is the finally conclusion? This is not an exceptional, all-time great month, but it is also not a disaster at all. You have a big new LEGO game, a nice co-op horror experience, a decent zombie shooter, a niche but loved action game, and a robot game just for fun. A great collection for the price of one subscription that you are probably already paying for anyway. It has created buzz, and more importantly,
