Phase 4 has finally arrived to World of Warcraft: Classic! This massive update to the Classic client brings a huge amount of new content, including the new Zul’Gurub raid, the Emerald Dragons, and a few other goodies.

The biggest addition is definitely the implementation of the classic raid Zul’Gurub, the capital city of the Gurubashi trolls in Stranglethorn Vale. We did a write up on what you can expect from the raid, so make sure to give it a good read through if you’re unfamiliar with what the city of Zul’Gurub holds.

Other than Zul’Gurub, the addition of the Emerald Dragons is the biggest thing coming in Phase 4. These dragons, the Green Dragons of Nightmare, spawn in four different zones, serving as immense world bosses that’ll take a raid to bring down. They spawn at the same time, but there’s no telling which will spawn at which portal. These portals are in Duskwood, the Hinterlands, Feralas, and Ashenvale.

Each of the four dragons – Emeriss, Lethon, Taerar, and Ysondre, fell prey to the corruption of the Emerald Nightmare, which most players now recognize as a raid in Legion’s endgame content. Each also drops its own loot, though there is a set of shared loot amongst them. Together, there are ten shared epic items, as well as twenty-two other items available when counting the individual loot from each. They also all have their own abilities, so make sure you’re ready to take them down!

In terms of more endgame content, something is stirring up the silithid in Silithus. The Druids of the Cenarion Circle are doing what they can to find out what’s going on and to discover what the Twilight Hammer is up to as the gates of Ahn’Qiraj rumble. If you want to go ahead and get started on some Old God-related content and be ready for the return of C’Thun, it’s a good time to head to the sands of Silithus and help out the Cenarion Circle!

But if you aren’t into bugs, how about fish? The most dangerous of all content being added is undoubtedly the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza! Blizzard hasn’t given an exact date, but keep an eye out for goblins wandering Ironforge and Orgrimmar as they announce the upcoming tournament. Grab your rod and win the fishing tournament, or grab your weapons and kill the opposing faction’s fishers!

Phase 4 is going to be bringing a huge amount of content, so if you’re ready to grind out the next phase, get ready to storm Zul’Gurub – and bring your bait!
