Alright, folks, get ready to actually hear some news about that forever teasing. PRAGMATA: That odd trailer with a little girl and an astronaut that dropped ages ago and whose weak marketing push stopped abruptly after a handful of months. Well, NVIDIA has dropped a bomb now, stating that the mysterious Capcom project is indeed real and coming for 2026-presenting applicable shock and awe with tech!

Those were the big pressings that came forth from the official Twitter handle of NVIDIA, weird in a way for you would actually expect an announcement of that nature from Capcom, not NVIDIA. PRAGMATA is coming in 2026 synonymous with ray tracing and DLSS 4. Woah, DLSS 4? That would mean the very tech just about to come out! But hey, 2026 should surely be their year of prominence. The tweet just says “PRAGMATA featuring ray tracing and DLSS 4 will launch in 2026,” then #RTXOn, with a link for more information to follow. So typical NVIDIA: “What is it” rather than “What is it about.”

Reaction was……mixed but for the most part, hype? Someone like @mycoolEth wrote, “I am starting to think @PRAGMATAgame is going to be a Masterpiece,” quite bold considering that we have like two trailers. Then there is @ElFoxyBoy fantasizing about “playing this on 1440p ultra settings 😍”; same here, friend. The visuals of those teasers were insane, but this was back before ray tracing and DLSS got announced.

But they stay doubtful. Coming roaring into the chat, @eternalfree6677 calls it “overpriced fake fps 😂,” which is fair; NVIDIA cards cost an arm and a leg these days. Then there is @HMS_TV1 asking, “Where is Reflex 2?” Dude, that game’s two years away, and you are already worried about Reflex 2? My, my. Priorities, people!

It’s strange that NVIDIA gets to be the one making the announcement. Since when do hardware companies reveal release dates for games? Usually, the publishers or the developers. But I guess when you’re partnering on the tech this heavily, you get to drop the news. The tweet also shares a media attachment, (footage or a screenshot) probably showcasing new stuff channeling the ray tracing goodness.

Do you remember when PRAGMATA was first shown? That was back in 2020 at the Sony PS5 reveal event. There was that really creepy trailer with the little girl and the astronaut on the moon, and then multiple delays happened. First to 2022, then to 2023, and now 2026 is looking more likely. That would be six years if it actually began during its first reveal. Either this game is going to be a mega hit or these dudes are in a real bad struggle.

Back to preferences, that mention of DLSS 4 is interesting. DLSS 3 that we have now comes with frame generation, which means DLSS 4 would likely come with next-gen RTX 5000 series cards. So PRAGMATA should either be the first game to actually get benefit from that new hardware. The timing is right – new GPU gen usually drops late 2024 or 2025, so come 2026 are games really built around the tech.

Replies are straight from the barrels of gaming Twitter though. You’ve got the hype squad like @_juanitoiii exclaiming “Fuck yea Pragmata mentioned #GeForceSummer #RTXOn”. Then you’ve got your graphics snobs like @abovetheplateau with their customary “I hope it has good graphics” like duh of course it’s gonna have good graphics it’s using ray tracing and DLSS 4!

@BOXR_GamingTV was just there appreciating the beauty with “So beautiful! 🥲”, and honestly mood. Those space scenes in the original trailer were already stunning, and with actual ray tracing? Man, reflections on that astronaut helmet alone are gonna be something else.

But to revisit, the mountain is that far away. Two years-out talks about a game are now being held when all is barely through 2024. At least, though, we have a date? After all that silence and cancellation-laws, knowing the year attached sounds like some progress. Feels like it is actually going to be delayed considering the two attached years to this by-now pattern.

I am wondering if this means more coming soon. Summer Game Fest is still right around the corner, or is it maybe Gamescom? NVIDIA most certainly would not have tweeted this unless they had more to show really soon. They put up a link to know more, though. That would probably just be some generic GeForce experience page or so.

The real question now would be “what actually is PRAGMATA?” Like, we know it’s a Capcom game, probably action-adventure, based on the trailer, set in space, and with some weird cosmic horror vibes. But beyond that? No clue. The title is pointless; the trailers were so obscure; Capcom’s been tighter than Fort Knox on details. Perhaps the NVIDIA partnership means it’s gonna be a PC-focused title? But then again, it was announced for PS5, so possibly multi-platform.

Anyway, I guess you should set 2026 in your calendars? By the way, it is going to get delayed to 2027. But hey, at least we know it is alive and kicking and will look utterly ridiculously beautiful with all that NVIDIA tech. DLSS 4 and ray tracing in 2026- by then, maybe a norm for AAA titles, but it is still exciting to witness Capcom jump in the first line.

So there you have it, PRAGMATA is alive and kicking and coming in 2026 with an embarrassing amount of NVIDIA buzzwords that will make any PC builder salivate. Now, we have just two years to wait. The struggle is real, gamers.
