Capcom released the info, and players are already going crazy over the summer-themed outfits, gestures, and pop-up camp decorations. Oh- wait, I forgot, there are Grand-Hub-themed meals too. Because, well, what sort of festival would it be without gourmet meals, huh?
The official MH tweet teased the event, and the reply thread is utter chaos! People are ecstatic: one of them, Tansey Brandon, even said, “I’m so hyped I can’t wait! New fits are on the way soon!” Meanwhile, there are others, so to speak… Opinions are just on the line, for the sake of having them. For example, SoulessEgo had to go ahead and bring up the nerfs for Seregios because arch-tempered monsters don’t feel menace enough when Steve (pretty much what the community has chosen to call Seregios) chooses to finely tune the art of permanent crystal life destruction.
Then there are those fashion hunters-oh, those fashion hunters. Nezwic said it loud, in all caps: “SHOW US THE REST OF GEMMA’S OUTFIT 👙. YOU COWARD!!!” accompanied by a fire emoji. Meanwhile, humbleace is calling for cowboy hats and western attire, because what would a summer festival be without looking and feeling like you just rode in from Red Dead Redemption?
Now, let’s talk about the real MVP in the replies- this one would go to the Palico fans. M Armyeater and Wilds Mocha, amongst many other players, hope the cats can be turned into fire spirits. Because why hunt monsters the normal way when your cat can literally be a flame?
Well, some aren’t so lucky lately. SaraJaySoldiers brought in the classic: “It rocks not being able to participate in any events because your game doesn’t work :D”— Oof, right? And the bittersweet truth in response from Discordia: “A festival that will only last less than a week for people to leave it again.”
Performance fixes? An answer to that, Max, please (MordredOW). And meanwhile… ArtiFI: “Loving MHWilds, but I think you should add more monsters from MHWilds, that game was awesome.” Wait… what? Searscale had to step up with, “Bro, you okay?”
Gogmazios hopefuls slide in then: Chapinin casually wondered, “A surprise addition to Gogmazios in this event would be cool,” because really, who wouldn’t want to summon a massive tar-dripping elder dragon to a summer party?
