Fashion lovers, listen! Capcom dropped that sizzling Event Quest called Running Wild. Luckier ones have gotten into a chase for the Guardian Fulgur Anjanath. Why? Because it drops a rare material needed for crafting the Sealed Dragon Cloth α headgear. Because, seriously, who wouldn’t want to have some starry glare on the road while slaying monsters?
The event is already in progress and shall continue until June 3 at 4:59 PM PT (Or June 4, 00:59 BST for the European affairs). So, if you’re feeling the itch for some new dripped-out gear, then jump into it now before it goes poof.
But…what does one even call the Guardian Fulgur Anjanath? If you have ever dared entry to the arena of hunting monsters, this ferocious electric T-Rex has surely taught you not to underestimate him. Lightning-charged, short-tempered like the length of a Dual Blades’ combo, it keeps its aggression at a level where even an experienced hunter breaks into cold sweat. But, hey—that’s what the grind is for, right?
Moving onward to the real show-stopper: the Sealed Dragon Cloth α. Oh, and the best way to describe this little headgear: it isn’t just a pretty face (though it does look sick). The headgear flaunts a classic scarf look that brings in that aura of “I just stepped out of an anime” for your hunter. It’s already getting praise for its clean look from @Strider_Hiryu13 among others. On the flip side, @LShyft chimed in about some very nasty visual bugs, primarily with Dual Blades. To put it plainly, on some of your fancy moves, the scarf goes “screen takeover mode,” which is definitely not something you want to come across in a video game.
While the majority of its effects sound too good to be true, a few have not yet bought into it. @vaulir0637, for example, is tired of the “drip-fed content” and is holding out for the summer festival as the real big content dump. Then there’s @sjnsnix, who, almost immediately afterward, calls this FOMO bait and threatens to drop a nasty Steam review. Oof.
Now, the got real splendid in the replies are the fashion hunters. @DoodQuinn and @speakingpuppets are hyped to grind for this fit, while @KaiSuhDude is begging for an Attack on Titan crossover so they can “beyblade the monkey as Levi.” Honestly? Same.
Traditionally, @Brickmuncher_87 is going to step in and… uh… ask for a big flat snake outfit? Look, Monster Hunter’s very out-there when it comes to fashion, but this might be pushing it.
Either if for anything else, whether you’re here for the grind, the fashion, or to just yell at Capcom about bugs, this Event Quest is giving the player something to do. And don’t forget, time waits for no one, and neither will the Sealed Dragon Cloth α craft.
So, grab a weapon of choice, rally a squad together, or you know, go solo if you’re a glutton for punishment, and start the hunt. And hey, might wanna throw in the old “turn it off and back on again” trick if the game craps out in the middle of a quest, like it did for @Cloudikous…
Happy hunting! May your fashion be on point and your hitboxes merciful.
