The city isn’t about to get half-made with Minecraft fans, but we shall see when they will finally seize their territory upon arrival in the block world. The new immersive experience, titled The Minecraft Experience:
Villager Rescue, promises a whole new flavor for the adventure level, stretching from immediately on June 20. Oh, and if you want to feel the experience a little early, presales get going April 21-acquire those presale tickets before the wait list starts dragging.
This is no ordinary pop-up. The entire experience of rescuing the villager is about immersing yourself in the Minecraft universe-puzzling your way to saving the villager from whatever pixelated doom awaits. It’s pretty much like stepping into the game-without all the creepers blowing up your hard-built dirt house.
Nothing has been officially stated about the new adventure yet, but judging by the last few Minecraft events, expect tons of interactive zones, some AR probably, and a huge selection of input with life-size Minecraft props’. Cause, really, like, who doesn’t want to take a picture next to a giant Enderman?
And in case you think “Eh, guess I’ll just buy tickets later,” things like these go super fast. The last Minecraft Experience was sold out with lines around the block, and June, being slap in the heart of summer vacation, surely means all the kids (and yeah, even the adults) will be flocking this thing.
Anyways, mark June 20th down on your calendars, set your reminders, do whatever you need to do. That’s what makes Toronto extra blocky this year, and you lose out on any chance of being there if you snooze.
There are not even any replies on the tweet yet, but you already know Minecraft stans are gonna go berserk once this starts trending. Here comes the aphorism! Flood of OMG FINALLY and TAKE MY MONEY commentators nny moment now!
Until then, better start brushing up on your villager trading skills. Just in case.
