An action-ready-looking Doctor Strange, clad in impressive red and blue robes, is what the image depicts. From here, the rest of the details extend to the glowing Eye of Agamotto and into the spell effects that adorn his hands with no shortage in crispness. It’s basically a comic book alive, and if that’s the way things are being peddled, this could easily turn out to be the superhero game against which all others will compete.

Once again, all that remains is for either NetEase or Marvel to confirm this as final, or still a work-in-progress. Right into that spicy timing, again, with Multiversal madness not too distant in many memories, all would veneer that of an aesthetic over Doctor Strange-e pure genius. The skin screams, “What If…” all over those competitive shooters, and honestly? We are most definitely there for it.

The real question now stands: would it be a default look or locked behind some heinous grind (or worse, paywall)? Monetization remains a murky waters affair at Marvel Rivals but past trends in hero shooters seem to suggest some seriously FOMO tactics in future. In any case, this leak shows that the devs are not being stingy about appreciation value for fans, though.

And who is the source of the leak? Hatsune Leaku has had quite a history in dropping inspired accurately game scoops so the chance of real deal value here would be high. It wouldn’t surprise thus if Marvel fandom were already out there crafting theories on what other MCU skins would come in: Scarlet Witch? Comic accurate Iron Man? The possibilities are endless.

So for now, all we have to do is ogle this shrieking leak and dream of the destruction that Doctor Strange will cause in Marvel Rivals. Judging by this phenomenal polish, the rest of the roster will put us on track for hero shooting’s next big thing.
