Final Warning to All Fortnite Enthusiasts and Linkin Park Buffs. By end of day tonight, it will disappear from the Item Shop: infamous Linkin Park emote. Judging from Epic’s FOMO skills, it could take months to return again. Might even be forever??
So what exactly is this emote? “In the End” (as in THE song) basically turned Chester Bennington’s world-famous micrograb into a Fortnite dance, though.
You start it and the first piano notes hit like they’re dripping with angst from Adam’s: totally 2000. Too many memories, especially for those who bumped Hybrid Theory on their iPod Nano back in the day.
No replies on the tweet (weird), but other posts are crazy in the comments—with some dude saying, “Bought it just to grief my squad with Chester’s voice mid-game.” Another one complaining about V-Bucks: “RIP my wallet but I NEED this.” Respectfully? Mood.
Epic has been sneaky lately, those collabs. Remember when the TMNT stuff went away, and people legit freaked out? Same energy. If you have the V-Bucks (It’s 500, so like 5 bucks), maybe you should just do it? Unless in three months you want to be THAT person: “WAIT THEY HAD A LINKIN PARK EMOTE??”
