With the second hero class, The Hunter, slated to arrive on June 18, things will certainly get crazier for LEGO Fortnite. The teaser dropped like a loot llama, so by now the players are either excited about it–or well, some mixed reactions are aplenty.

So, is there more to The Hunter? Not really. The teaser mentions “new heroic adventures,” which could mean new ways of doing random evil things to the LEGO monsters scattered around the world or those LEGO mates in blocky Fortnite. The first hero class, Shadow Caller, did show players how to mix things up with different playstyles, and now The Hunter is going to set the pot stirring a bit more.

With that said, though, the trio announced got some biting remarks from the Internet: One player, @24edwetrf, said that the mode is “dead” and actually had qualms about some missing features, like jumping. Okay, maybe one can sympathize with him there. @HaydenThor32591 was pretty straight forward in saying, “No one actually cares.” Then there’s @zkimdracula demanding Epic “get rid of building in Fortnite” because, in their eyes, “sweats” are ruining it. Classic.

The opposite corner welcomed the hype! @zwitterati101 excitedly exclaimed, “Finally, we get another expansion yes let’s goo 😛,” whereas @GabWEB3_0 simply said, “Let’s go hunt.” @tonic_pictures then came in for good vibes with a wish for an amazing day to all.

The big question on a few people’s minds: “Wait, what is the first hero class? (We’re talking to you, @CowboySpace_.)” In case the answer has slipped your memory, the very first hero class was Shadow Caller, a class that players could switch abilities with and level up their style of play. Now The Hunter is joining, and from the name alone, we’re guessing there’s some serious ranged or tracking skills in play.

Then there’s the other half of the LEGO Fortnite fanbase getting worked up over unrelated stuff: @TwitWithBea wants to find Cammy (Street Fighter fans never get over her), while @RUBY_Cherryz seeks TMNT emotes. Priorities, people!

So mark your calendar for June 18-or don’t, if you’re like @SeanDoggo and “not falling for it.” Whether you’re excited about it or skeptical, LEGO Fortnite’s universe is expanding, and The Hunter could very well be the game-changer. Or could it be just another thing to ignore on your grind to Festival mode? At least, some new content is coming, and that ought to spark excitement. Right?

Okay, maybe not for everyone.
