The winners had their custom creations included as presets in the game and their names in the credits. Since so many players entered, Team Ninja announced some additional presets would be added as NPCs. The trail begins on Friday, February 28, and lasts all weekend until Sunday, March 1. Save progress during the trial will not roll over into the full game, but custom characters can be imported into the final release. The Nioh 2 team encourages players to spend time creating a character to take with them in the final build.
