Sounds fun, right? Go out, make some snapshots, and exchange them for some sweet, sweet Primogems. But the replies, oh man, teh replies? Straight fire, and not in a good way for Hoyo.
The official Genshin Impact account tweeted regarding the event and gave a mantra for players urging them to “share photos of views and culture during your expedition.” The hashtags are #Atocpan #AncientSacredMountain to join in on the Primogem action.
But rather than excitement about the new things, replies turned into a full-vivid-war-zone!
Several players simply demand that Hoyoverse “#Sign the interim agreement” with SAG-AFTRA, which is the union of voice actors. Some people even go so far as to demand that the company “fire all the English voice actors” that do not “understand the spirit of contracts.” Whoa, pretty harsh, eh?
Tediousbee even went harder, tweeting: “@GenshinImpact Hey, please recast all the Genshin voice actors who are attacking Kinich’s new actor. It is not possible that such mean people are doing that.” “Daaaaaamn, that’s spicy tea right there.” So, it’s not just about teh agreement; there’s some in-fighting happening among the VAs? Wait what was i saying? Oh yeah!

Then you got the absolute savage replies, DGavin69363 being like, “@GenshinImpact ain’t even exploring allat.” LOL. Some folks just don’t roll well with this exploring life.
And then there’s Le_Mar_Mou dropping the dreaded “Dead game No one plays this trash anymore” bomb. Ouch. That’s got to sting, Hoyo. Tho kristanni20x6 responded to this reply and said that it’s “Untrue statement. I’ve personally seen plenty of people play the new content”. Okay, okay, chill guys!
Well, what’s the bottom line? Genshin Impact can give out all the shiny new content that they can, but until they straighten out things with the voice actors, it’s going to be pretty hard for them to get out of the drama zone.
