HoYoVerse just dropped some Flins lore into Genshin Impact, and-the-more-it-is-thought-of-players are going insane with it. The official note says that he is a “decisive warrior with a refined air” who lives in a lighthouse and channels Electro powers through the Moon Wheel. I know; all of that is to absorb. But the real madhouse? The replies. Ohhh, the replies.

The whole Flins design has gamers choking under the chokehold. One player (@timelyflins) went into full simp mode saying, “If Flins has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Flins has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Flins has only one fan then that is me.” And honestly? Mood. Another @shakawaiii user just said they’re “gonna comeback to gi just for him,” which- I agree. The thirst is real, people.

But not all are set on him. @Siddhartha37124 trashed the weapon choice: “How to ruin a cool looking male character? Give them a stick with a small blade attached at the end.” Ouch. Easy with the attack, eh? While at it, @DrVASMR went into a full-blown existential crisis, rolling for another character (Ineffa) before gazing upon Flins’ drip. “FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.” Huge regrets.

That lore dump put the debate to life. Flins doesn’t have a Vision-one has a “Moon Wheel,” which @BlueSceptile25 found “interesting.” Others, like @Siddhartha37124, wondered how Moon Wheels relate to the deeper lore of Teyvat and whether or not they are connected to the Sovereigns. Deep cuts, man.

And then those are some… uh, really intense reactions. @timelyflins (again) wrote: “I just want to squeeze him and kiss him and love him and marry him and everything.” @ninanatiii wondered if this was their “sign to start playing genshin again,” while another @TinaEveryDayy, who claims to be a “Husbando collector,” said that Flins is “very handsome” but still not as good as Kaeya.

And @FillerDii comments: “This will make the perverts happy.” No further comment.

The verdict? Flins is going to be either your new obsession or yet another pretty face in a sea of pretty faces. But no matter which way you look at it, Genshin players ARE ALL IN. Is he as good as they say? Well, can’t really say, since he’s still not playable. But if you’re asking now…the fandom is in pieces.

Side note: Maybe you’re wondering why this article took a turn for the chaotic. Blame the Twitter. The replies? Unhinged. But that’s Genshin for you: never dull.

Now if you’ll excuse me, my fifth gaze on Flins’ design-member today beckons. For research, of course.
