It writes that Forza Horizon players are engaged in a rather heated debate as to which cars ought to take the latest Backstage Shop vote. The official Forza Horizon Twitter account gave players a poll to select from three luxuries and performance vehicles: agility, luxury, or power. And oh, they have some spicy comments.

The choices panel: The sleek Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, classy Aston Martin DBS, and almost rare Aston Martin Lagonda, with the name and spirit of Arnold Palmer still coursing through its veins. Each has a separate fan base, and players are singing their opinions loud and clear. Some are pleading for the Alfa, as it has been sold only once before, and others are racing for the Lagonda, as it is the latest addition into the Forza franchise.

Player @WolfmanFari actually pleaded, “Please please please please, i want the Alfa. I missed she back in the italian festival.” Meanwhile, @frenchtoast_t campaigned for the DBS: “please people vote for the aston martin.” And @_Myranium_ is already speculating: “after an abysmal vote last week I suspect the top duo will win, despite both cars being recycled, whereas the Aston Lagonda is in fact a new-to-Forza car.”

But voting is not all people are doing. Several players seized the chance to chime in with complaints about the series itself. @captnuttyballz basically stated, “Soooo like when are you gna make a game where you dont make it easy for children and make it more simulation like fh1 and 2? Bc you guys are currently ruining your own game. We dint want easy glued to the ground cars we want real… fix yourselves…. love Capt Nuttyballs.”

Some, like @Buldrekukk, took the time to bring up auction house issues, complaining about cars being stuck at low values or simply not sellable. “Who, and how, can we contact someone about Auction problems in FH4? This is not the only car that can’t be sold, or have Auction problems.”

Then @Gro3_ chose to throw in a random response from AI, stating,”AI can help identify key conversations and craft personalized replies, amplifying your authentic engagement.” Okay, bot.

The Backstage Shop has always been a place where players would vote for a previously rare or unavailable cars to be returned to the scene, but this time feels more serious. The Lagonda is fresh; the 8C is a fan favorite that has been away for a while; the DBS? It just looks cool.

What will come up with the wins? Nostalgia might steal the show, as has been said in reference to past voting. The Lagonda, though, being a new-to-Forza model, may cause the upset. Anyhow, players are invested.

And hey, for those who missed getting these rides the first time, now is the time to ensure that they do indeed come back. You just don’t want to expect everyone agreeing with your pick. The Forza community has never been this divergent-well, and that is where the fun lies.

Now, get those votes in before the voting session closes. Checking the comments will be a great idea unless you’re ready for what is coming next.
