Hey Fortniters! I heard something really disappointing that probably none of you know about: have you heard that the Chapter 1 Season 9 cinematic was scrapped? It’s such a bummer that we might never get to see it, but there’re such good tidbits about the storyline behind it!!
Apparently, Ramirez was going to be a big part of the story for Season 9. How dope would that be? Just think about how many twists and turns from her character we could’ve experienced. But sadly, we have to wonder what could’ve been. But really, excitement in Fortnite lore is something else.
Fans really got their heads into action, gathering critics into the dots they joined concerning particular characters in particular. Ramirez was supposed to be so central in that-it is only increasing the intrigue. What really was that secret in the cinematic that went lost? What adventures were there waiting for us? Just like an unfinished mystery novel, we seem to have only the first few chapters.
In comes the gamer formerly known as @formulatoast37, who shared that neat twist, saying the imagery we really saw may very early version of what became the Season 9 story trailer. That’s a point of possibility and hope to share! Maybe, just maybe, more are hidden from us in the vault of Fortnite.
Then comes @HHambogo, crying to the world with “she could have developed into being part of the storyline ðŸ˜ðŸ˜”.” The disappointment is palpable in that message! Sure, so many fans would have liked to have seen more of Ramirez.
Characters like that bring life to the game and seem unfortunately wasted in their story arcs. On the brighter side of things, @MrJokerCPoC came with an interpretation of Jonesy looser than a sullen teenager saying, “So Jonesy hit ‘I’m watching you,’ first. 😆”
Even in disarray of rants against cut scarps, the moments like this remind one about how much generally Fortnite gives the community in terms of humor and personality. However, there are many voices on that too. @sagebotnik spoke about how some fans seem to think that everything has something under it.
Yes, such is the furious and stubbornly attached community of Fortnite, which will gladly tear apart any piece and piece, igniting crazy debates. But most of the fun lies in that, doesn’t it? Materials become richer by different points of view. It is apparent by now that storytelling has become a prime pull for Fortnite itself as we revisit this scrapped cinematic.
Every season only adds new characters and stories while even the few that do not find entry into the game continue to spark conversations. So what do you think?
