Fortnite dropped a bomb on the Star Wars fandom with the latest merch: The Customizable Mandalorian Set is now in the Item Shop. Let’s be real; for the most part, there probably isn’t another opportunity to be a real Mandalorian. Players may mix and match any armor pieces, colors, or styles to create some custom-looking bounty hunter.

The announcement was posted by Fortnite, sending the fans into a frenzy with comments coming in from praise to demands for additional color options. (Purple gang, these are your people.) Among some of their sort were the shamelessly flaunting of unlocked designs, such as Rafael Lyonnais, who hired his to Jango Fett. And then there were others like Space Walk, who pointed out small inconveniences, like being unable to change the black undergarments or lacking some color options. But, on the great forth, it was an extremely positive reception.

GG3 puts it elegantly: “If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a Mandalorian, now’s your chance!” And truthfully, they couldn’t be more right There are very few Fortnite skins that allow you to customize this much, so this is an absolute must for die-hard Star Wars enthusiasts or anyone who intends to look good while dropping into Battle Royale.

Some, though, are still unimpressed. Like deonaxium1, delayers are holding out for Terminator or Street Fighter skins. Meanwhile, Gangland Gazette swears it is “best skin to date” … Then Rude Toff felt the need to complain about Epic over the delay: “After leaks ruined it already.” Then the classic Fortnite dilemma appears: endorse the skin or go broke (shoutout to good_dominic_2 for keeping it real).

The customization options are certainly deep but not perfect. Fans want more colors (purple, mostly, because apparently, the Mandalorian fandom has a thing for that shade). Some suggested more accessories, like jetpacks or even lightsaber pickaxes, to go with the outfit. But hey, at least this gives us some hope that maybe more down the road Epic would actually listen in and bring us that update with way more options.

It’s safe to say the skin is selling quite well. For hardcore Star Wars or just someone with a lot of cash to splurge in the lobby, this might have to be one of the sickest cosmetic sets ever from Fortnite. So buy it before it disappears-if you even have those V-Bucks to spare. Because though… nowhere else will you find this kind of swag.

And if you’re still debating? Just remember-this is the way. Or at least, it’s the way to look really, really cool in Fortnite.
