Fortnite dropped a full lobby of Iron Legion suits for sale in the item shop?? It has us buzzing about this mega Marvel Blitz Royale event on Stark Island set to happen tomorrow, on the 12th of September. What is even happening right now? These are next-level Marvel crossover moves that we haven’t seen since… Well, since the last Marvel crossover, actually. But still!

That hype tweet was put out by the official Fortnite account, which came with a showcase of recent drops in the item shop: sleek red and gold Iron Legion outfits. They then teased the absolutely confirmed Stark Island event scheduled to kick off tomorrow. If you are following along, that is basically NOW, depending on when you are reading this. Time zones, and all.

Otherwise, basically the main thing players are losing it about in the replies isn’t even the Marvel stuff. There’s a car window glitch where the windows don’t shatter when shooting at someone sitting inside on the passenger seat? Seriously, BuzzardThunder is complaining about it – and I am with him on this one. What would be entertaining vehicular combat if car windows were almost indestructible? This is legitimate frustration.

Minitanou then goes on to plead for a return of all the Marvel skins to the shop. Speaking of moods. Certain skins have been awaited for forever. Speaking of waiting, another entity called PleaseAddTsuyu is now on day 429 of daily requests to add Tsuyu Asui from My Hero Academia to the game. I’m positive their perseverance will pay off.

Back to the Marvel stuff-The players are both hyped and asking all the right questions-well, mostly asking when is this Stark Island event really starting? Grok (sounds like some kind of AI or whatever) is out here answering some of these in English and French, stating it should be available at daily reset time, which in cases means 00:00 UTC, if you’re following along. Then, to add to the confusion, someone else chimes in, “9 AM ET?”

Consider now what these players are theorizing as what this Stark Island event might be. Mewtwo150 is comparing the size of the area to current blitz maps, insinuating that this may be some sort of limited-time mode or special map. And with a name like “Blitz Royale,” it sure sounds like a fast-paced battle royale with some Marvel twists, doesn’t it?

Naturally, the technical problems accompany a Fortnite update. Amanda Smith cannot purchase the Pixelle starter pack as the Epic Games store keeps throwing up “Page Not Found” errors. And Xerty is having binding problems keeping them from editing right, even when they’ve resetting everything. Those are real struggles, mid-hype.

That said, the Marvel comrade has generated significant hype. TurtleSincere04 is throwing out a real one and asking if Fortnite can make Thor as good as the Iron Man skin. Another is begging for the F4 bundle to return to the item shop; demand for Marvel content is really high right now.

What is wilder is how the players mix the hype and the complaints. Hypercade goes around joking if Tony Stark is brilliant enough to fix that bug about loadouts that have been plaguing the game since Remix season. Now, that is some next-level humor merging Marvel omniverse and Fortnite glitches.

Then some players are just rocking the OG Iron Man skin, just like Jeffrey Method. Sometimes you don’t need any new stuff when you have classics. The Iron Legion suits do look awfully fresh, though.

The timing is interesting-With the Stark Island event kicking off September 12, that puts it smack dab in the middle of… well, regular season stuff, I guess. But to be launching these events even this late into the age, it just says so much about how far Fortnite has gone with these Marvel collabs.

What would be even more interesting to see is how the Blitz Royale mode plays out. If it’s anything like previous limited-time modes but with Marvel twists and maybe with a pinch of Stark tech thrown in… that’d be insane fun. Especially if some of that got mixed into gameplay mechanics for those Iron Legion suits.

But yo, with the tech hiccups, hype, request for other collabs, and pure mayhem that is gonna be the Fortnite collective reaction-this Marvel update’s gonna cook up a Frankenstein of excitement and frustration, just as it meant to.

The Iron Legion suits are in the shop now, so if you want to rock the red and gold for the Stark Island event commencing tomorrow, better grab them while you still can. You never know how long they’ll be around; Fortnite item shop rotations are sad in the unpredictability factor.

Anyway, Marvel Blitz Royale is gonna be a fun story to watch unfold. Hopefully, those car windows get fixed in time. Because that passenger seat shooting issue sounds pretty ugly. Wouldn’t want to have any proper Marvel action if you can’t pop a window!
