Fortnite recently sparked hot news by announcing the Elite Zadie Reload Cups, and already this was exciting news for players. The event would run for two days from April 26. At the end of it, players would win the Zadie Outfit. However, the company kept it a secret as to what the cup would have for them, so the expectation already is-“it’s gonna be pretty sweaty for some insane rewards”.

The tweet from Fortnite’s official account hit the nail on the head-it was literally nothing else than the tease play for fire emojis and a link for more. No replies so far, but one definitely knows that community is going to get buzzing the moment it hits the front page of Reddit.

Of course, it’s clearly hinted at something more mid-season, unless it ends up like some silly two-day affair in between these weeks. Perhaps Epic is just throwing us a bone to keep the grind going. Either way, the Zadie Outfit has shaped up to be quite the flex for anyone that earns it.

Still, no word on whether this is going to be solo, duo, or squad cup-if past events are anything to go by, however, expect some highly intense matches. The Elite Cups usually feature the top players of this era, so those of you who’ve not yet started grinding the Arena need to do so, and quickly.

And hey, even if you don’t get the skin, Epic may drop that item in shop later, but where’s the fun in that? Bragging rights > V-Bucks any day.

Mark the date and ready up those builds for sweat. April 26-27 will indeed be wild. Or, you know, another weekend of getting absolutely dunked on by TTV players. Either way, it’s content.

First replies are awaited still after this tweet, but just give it an hour, as with time all competitive community wakes up, this tweet will be flooded with theories and hype trains. Will it be like another FNCS-level event? Or maybe like a cash cup with a bit of added flair? Or, just another casual but fun little side tournament? Only time will tell.

One thing is for sure: Fortnite will absolutely not slow down in the year 2024. A busy and crazy year, considering all this, the so-called Greek mythology season, and everything else Epic has cooking. Now if only they’d fix those damn servers…

Keeping an eye for anything else. And if you’re going to compete, better start practicing now because you know all those lobbies are going to be stacked. May the bloom be ever in your favor and good luck.
