Firstly, the official Fortnite Twitter account posted a clip of one ATK car making donuts, dubbing it “me and the squad pulling up to do donuts in the ATK.” Immediately, the replies became a warzone of demand from the player base. Such hype versus complaints ratio is just insane.

First of all, let’s talk about that ATK video. For the uninitiated, or anyone who actually started their Fortnite journey well after Chapter 1, the ATK was one of the OG vehicles in Fortnite: basically a golf cart with room for an entire squad of people. Seeing it in action again, even randomly on Twitter, sparked all sorts of theories among players-if Epic might actually be teasing its return. Honestly, the timing could not be better. Given that Epic Games is bringing back so many classic elements, a vehicle would be one less big stretch to bring back.

Cool, right? From there, things went downhill in the comments, with full-blown demand lists being drafted. Highlights:

-“BRING BACK OLD ANIMATION BRUHHHHHHH. ALL UR COMMUNITY ASK FOR IT 🤡”- kehovich, basically speaking for the entire player base.

-“OG MOVEMENT PLEASE” – RSSdrako, because this sprinting mechanic barely works anymore.

– “remove the botttttttttttts even if the lobbies wont fill to 100 i hate them with passion” – TechXero, for some strange reason.

Then there’s Drift drama. Boys, if only the army of replies asking Epic to “unmask Riftreaver Drift” because they believe the original unmasked look was iconic could actually be counted: one sly reply pointed out how his reskin in Season OG literally aged him back or something…hmm, Fortnite lore is weird.

Meanwhile, the funniest thing is some random crypto wanker dropping in with “Who wants to race 👀 $uma” as if Fortnite is some blockchain racing sim. Classic.

And the chill crew:

“I love Fortnite OG” – SirChuggaChug

“Looking to make new friends I am new to the game.” – TJBLFG

Epic’s got yet to answer very much like expected, but this avalanche of demands strongly indicates one great craving for an OG Fortnite experience. Be it movement, skins, or just let us remove bots; the whole community is quite loud about what they want.

So, is the ATK back? Who even cares? Judging by the amount of player-powered energy about this tweet, they definitely have opinions and have no qualms about spamming those in all caps.

On a bit more important note, can someone check on the one who asked the Fortnite account, “Are you ok?”? That has kind of gone into the realm of concern.
