Nostalgic blast in the Fortnite competitive scene. FNCompetitive tweeted that they have just now gotten an interview with AimBizzle, one of the OGs who, according to him, predated competitive Fortnite into its infancy. The reply area? A total mess of nostalgic and emotional quotes.
For those who have no clue who Bizzle was back in the wonderful golden era, Bizzle was THAT dude in the peak Fortnite days. His mechanics made gypsy pros appear to be bots, while his gameplay was so smooth yet somehow he ghosted a little back in the day; hence players were always waiting for his comeback. Now, just like that, FNCompetitive goes on and blows it out with the announcement of an interview with Bizzle, and the whole world is really going crazy.
The tweet was short: “A couple months ago, we reached out to @AimBizzle and asked for an interview. And he said yes 🥹.” Cue the tears. Former pro players and teammates and all sorts of people took over the replies in anguish for missing old school Fortnite. Judgey hit it off with a “Good ole days 💔,” while others, such as LukeFlowberry, openly declared Bizzle “the goat fr.” Even Sean Cooper (L2Coop_) dropped in with, “I miss Fortnite”—same here, bro.
It was not really a walk in the park. Some players in fact took the opportunity to slam the game for its current shameful state. Bruce Magma and xMarioo21 demanded Epic to bring back the old movement animations, while zbhoooook pleaded for console-only Zero Build cash cups. And, for the giggles, zoink16_ threw shade at FNCompetitive saying, “doing absolutely fucking nothing about the eval.” Well then.
And the craziest part is that Bizzle himself showed up in the replies and started teasing about golf (??), only for Cagy to call him out. Classic Bizzle—always been lowkey funny. Ithyp3r declared him as the “og goat,” whereas Slovke hit us with the cryptic “They did,” meaning anything.
And let’s not forget some detours: Benni wonders if the duo cup on Friday is for PC players (always for PC players, my guy), while AlEmViMe_ dropped some pic of… something. I really have no clue, but there it is.
What is clear, though, is that Bizzle’s name still holds some sort of relevance. Either it is his return to competitive play or just dropping some knowledge in that interview. Players are hyped up for it. And honestly? After years of meta switches, broken guns, and sketchy updates, I think we really need a little magic from Bizzle once more.
Still no word on the actual date of the interview, but you already know we’ll be refreshing the FNCompetitive forum like our life depends on it. Until then, pour one out for Chapter 1, and let’s pray Epic listens to the movement animation complaints. Or just actually fix the servers. Either way.
