Fortnite trending or hot? The V-bucks stink and the new content of the item shop was just today, on April 05, 2025, with some sweet new releases inside. Epic Games, as all the time, tweeted a link to its site (SAC codes auto-applied, why complicate life?), and the replies right now are welcoming a bit of hype, a bit of chaos.

First timer, typical tweet; the usual reminder to check the shop and a couple of SAC codes (just FireMonkey and W1q if you really want to know). Ridiculous collaborations? None at all. No leaks. Just business as usual.

But of course, the Fortnite community keeps everything spicy; with even the tiniest update, they will start to comb the files.

What are the replies now? Dead silence. Zilch. Nada. A bit… different. Normally, you’d see one or two replies of “OMG NEW SKIN WHEN?” or “WHERE’S THE DRAGON BALL CROSSOVER?”. But this time? Crickets.

Probably everyone was busy grinding on new season or maybe this tweet just got buried by the algorithm of Twitter. Either way, a little creepy.

Now back to the SAC codes: FireMonkey’s been in the game for a while now-good creator, good content. W1q? No clue who that is but I guess it will go to some free support for them if you’re into that. The real question is: Whatever happened to Epic that they suddenly got crazy with self-promotions asking for those codes?

Seems like an effort to stimulate involvement, or they’re trying something new with the SAC system. Either way, if you’re buying an item, might as well drop a code to make someone’s day better.

As far as the Item Shop itself is concerned, getting no major surprises this time around. No major level drops worthy of Travis Scott, no Naruto reruns (sad weeb noises), just skins, emotes, and wraps rotating as usual.

But hey, that’s Fortnite for you. One day they have nothing, the next day you’re broke because they dropped a Godzilla skin out of nowhere.

What is the moral of the story? Check the shop out, throw in a SAC code if you feel generous, and keep your eyes open because surprise drops could happen at any time. Because you know Epic’s up to something crazy brewing for later this month. And when it does, trust me, the replies won’t be silent anymore.
