Oatley Locker Bundle is going to be dropping on June 25, and it will only be in store for three days. Oatley himself gave a press conference thanking Fortnite and the community and passing on their request to utilize his creator code. But what does the bundle entail? And why are some already calling it basic, or – low-key ass? Let’s find out.
For an initial inventory: The bundle contains a skin, a glider, and a pickaxe-almost run-of-the-mill things for a Fortnite locker bundle. But the game’s fans have… let’s say, mixed reactions toward it. Right from the word go, they see it as something to `use and abuse.’ One example is when @AmirAU_ yelled, “letssss goo oatley mate!” On the other side of the fence, though, people like @SBHashtronaut are cussing it out, saying, “When you people get locker bundles, CAN Y’ALL NOT PUT DOGSHIT IN IT? It’s the same 5 items for every damn bundle and it’s so boring.” Okay.
Then, pricing becomes an issue. While one player, @Edoggaming33, says that he already has three of the items in the bundle, so he’ll basically pay less; others like @Mat_Rodel jokingly say, “Sadly, in terms of money… we have no money 😅.” Classic. Another chimed in: @Wernixx19179: “How much?” An important question indeed.
The biggest hang-up? It’s just plain boring. @zion873810 said it’s the “MOST basic locker bundle I’ve seen,” with @ItsADAMO_ backing her up: “Only the skin is valid.” @Yellllop added to that with, “this was the big announcement…? 😭” Double-Oof. @LOOTSTATIONYT broke from the pack, saying, “Love it congrats 👏,” with @RapperTTV joining the chorus.
So, what’s the deal with Oatley? It’s definitely not innovating anything, but for fans of the creator, a pretty cool way to stamp out his brand in-game; And let’s be real-Fortnite locker bundles are completely hit or miss. Some come equipped with very rare cosmetics; some just, well… exist. This one looks like it’s veering to the latter, if you listen to those first reactions.
July 25 should be marked down on the calendar if one wants to support creators or just needs a skin to flaunt. But don’t expect anything groundbreaking unless it starts trending on sarcastic tweets. Another gruesome-hit-or-miss bundle is dropping in Fortnite, basically in-between love or hate, and it’ll be gone in three days. So, start deciding!
