Firefighting simulator” is the word of the day. An untrustworthy Twitter account of the official Firefighting Simulator posted a vague teaser with “Coming soon™” and a firefighter emoji. Nothing more.

There was no date and no description. Just…soon™. That gives gamers plenty of room not to stop with wild theories about what “soon” means in gaming time-next week, maybe in 2025, who knows.

The tweet is connected to the game’s official site, giving away no further details. Just promises some thrills on realistic firefighting action, teamwork, and saving lives. Sounds awesome, but what will be the date? What platform?

Full AAAs or something indie creators lovingly call a farewell letter? That search is on, and all we’ve managed to find is a cryptic emoji and a trademark symbol-laughable corporate humor.

Any replies? Sadly, not at this time; but you know when this thing starts to catch fire-all puns intended-it is going to trend all over the place, full of hype, skepticism, and memes in the comment section.

Gamers love their simulators, and farming and truck-driving simulators are a hit, but firefighting now-that is one totally different ball of stress. The thought of dousing a digital blaze with fellow teammates shouting through your headset? Not so much fun…okay maybe a little crazy fun.

So what are we doing now? We wait. That is, if you want to practice holding a fire hose in real life, or just pass the time playing through Firefighter FD 18 until something actually comes out.

Soon™-whatever that means. Stay tuned? Or not? Not that we really have much of a choice, anyway.
