Swedish studio Fatshark introduced a new challenge to mark the second birthday of Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Of course, what’s a birthday without some ale?

The developer has added a new challenge, called A Quiet Drink. You can access this challenge in the Keep.

The challenge starts with the warriors looking for some ale as a break from all that fighting. There are numerous pubs to choose from. However, this new challenge is not without danger as Chaos enemies are wandering about guarding the streets. Of course, End Times will be nothing without the clanrats, as well.

Everything will come to a had at the Obese Megalodon, which is an unusual name for a pub. After all, what’s a little drink without an all-out melee?

After which, the heroes will find themselves escaping through the subterranean tunnels.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was the sequel to the Warhammer: End Times-Vermintide released in 2015. Players will find themselves teaming up with three others (although there are five playable characters. Don’t ask) to fight barbarians, rats, and other enemies.

The five warriors--Witch Hunter, Bright Wizard, Dwarf Ranger, Empire Soldier, and Waywatcher--are the only ones who stand in the way of the fall of the Empire. Your skills will be tested against the Chaos and Skaven Warriors.

Whoever you choose among the playable characters and how you decide in-game will determine the fate of your warrior and how you develop the character skill.

In the co-op environment, players need to master the skills of their respective characters because they all have certain abilities crucial to the success of the missions.

Meanwhile, the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 expansion will reportedly be released this coming summer. The DLC, called Winds of Magic, will introduce another enemy to the already chaotic universe of Warhammer. The new DLC is touted to be bigger than the Shadows Over Bögenhafen released in August 2018.

The Winds of Magic will unveil the Beastmen, and they will be joining the Rotblood and Skaven tribes. It’s still not clear what their abilities will be but with a name like that, they will surely be very dangerous. There will also be mods called weaves, which will add another kink to the game.

The Warhammer: Vermintude 2 anniversary treat will only be available for 10 days. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.

The Warhammer: Vermintude 2 is being offered at a 60% discount on Steam on a limited period.
