Fall Guys is underway, so let the festivities commence. In order to keep the hype alive, Mediatonic has confirmed that two old levels, as well as the infamous Solos Chill, are back. What began with some parties today shall be accompanied by some surprises tomorrow.
What? The official Fall Guys account had something to say about the return of Party Promenade and another level (because why should we spoil the fun all at once?). But more is going down tomorrow, the day to mark the commencement of the first ranked cycle in Mastery League, thus setting a grinder for all the beans with a competitive heart. Let’s not forget Solos Chill: a chill mode for gamers who just want to sit back and vibe without stressing too much.
No confetti popped for this one, of course. The replies? A somewhat chaotic combo of hyped enthusiasm and salty frustration. Players like @legibifou said it’s great to see it come back because the game felt leaden after two years. Conversely, @ThreedixYtb reacted to the return of Solos Chill by saying it’s way too casual for a competitive player. (He even went on to say, “Why not just make all maps playable in private lobbies?”—which, honestly, is a valid argument.)
The conversation about vaulted levels blew up next. In essence, @ZayZay_121 asked why can’t Mediatonic just unvault everything and rotate it? But @DrTocan replied, begging the devs to not vault the maps for another two-and-a-half years. The great strugg.
Save us, children. Yes, children! @ThreesFG clapped back at competitive players dunking on Solos Chill, reminding everyone that–shock–some modes are just not meant for tryhards. “It’s. Not. For. You.” Ouch. But @ThreedixYtb was quick to respond, “You always have something to say, the children’s community is never happy 😂😂.” And the saga ensues.
Then there are the ridiculous legacy skin spawn requests. Never-ending. Came @FallGuysBurner again with: “This is actually awesome.. almost as awesome as adding in legacy skins that you refuse to take our money for. Parrot when?! Please!” Desperation is apparent.
At the end of the day, Fall Guys is doing what Fall Guys do best: causing chaos, both in-game and on Twitter. Whether you came for the competitive grind or just to flop around in Solos Chill, there is something for everybody. If nothing else, at least they can support consistent updates once more.
If only Square Up would ever return on another occasion as keeps being requested by @lostloser1055. Another time, maybe.
Thus, now, grab those jelly beans as Fall Guys is back into crazy antics. Honestly? We Wouldn’T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.
