Developers Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, along with publisher Modus Games, have added another console to their launch platform for Cris Tales.

The announcement comes with a new trailer focused on Google Stadia.

Cris Tales is a JRPG-inspired RPG with animated 2D art and more than 20 hours of gameplay.

“Crisbell must embark across Crystallis and the four Kingdoms in a bid to stop the powerful Time Empress and rewrite the future of the world and all those living in it. Along the way, she’ll meet and recruit powerful allies with their own unique stories and skills like Matias the Frog and Willhelm the Child Mage.” states the Steam store summary, “As she explores the world and meets her unique companions, Crisbell will have to make choices with far-reaching consequences for the people she meets – consequences that will impact the world you’ll experience in real-time throughout your journey.”

In Cris Tales, players will play multiple timelines at once. Gamers can learn from the past and put those decisions into place in the present, or alter the future.

Since the game is inspired by JRPGs, there is strategic turn-based combat. There are a variety of ways to explore the fantasy world as well. Transportation includes an airship, boat, or more. Each location is unique, from slums to the kingdom of Crystallis.

Besides the turn-based gameplay, there’s plenty of stories to enjoy. There are branching stories to immerse players in the world of Cris Tales.

While the game isn’t available yet, there is a free demo up for download on the Steam store.

The game will support seven languages at launch, but will only have English audio.

While there haven’t been many projects by the developers Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK yet, the publisher is quickly rising to release indie titles. Modus Games is also the publisher for Remothered: Broken Porcelain, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, Ary and the Secret of Seasons, and more.

Gamers interested in staying up-to-date with the game’s development can join the publisher’s official Discord server.

With the announcement of Cris Tales also coming to Google Stadia, now more players can experience the game at launch.

Cris Tales releases in 2020 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and now the Google Stadia.
