Dr Disrespect, the Two-Time Blockbuster Video Game World Champion, has dropped a bombshell announcement on Gray Zone Warfare. With his usual dramatic flair, Doc took to Twitter to hype his stream, announcing that he and Viss got VIP early access to the tactical shooter. And the internet went berserk.
About 30 minutes before the stream prompt, that was classic Doc zen: “I woke up today feeling better than most, if not, all of you.” Confidence? Check. Swagger? For sure. The promise of “high-end tactical jungle maneuvers” had fans already typing.
Like, what is Gray Zone Warfare? For the unaware, it’s an upcoming tactical FPS which is growing in popularity with intense and squad-based combat. Sweaty tension, sweat being the operative term here; think Escape from Tarkov. And now, thanks to Doc and Viss, some unlucky few who know precisely what that means will be treated in a VIP manner-who knows what that entails (Maybe mullets and violence).
The responses? Utter chaos, as one would expect. The people rallied behind it, another user captioned, “LET’S WAKE UP!!!” while others were…different. Somehow, there was a portion of the audience who was unamused, and one user threw down a fiery insult that we don’t dare repeat here. (Yikes.)
But the real high vibes were coming from the Doc’s loyal Champions. Furnished with comments like “6’8 shredded from head to tippy toe” and “Doc lookin especially aerodynamic today,” nobody can scream louder than the Two-Time when it comes to hype. There were post-Gray Zone requests for a “5-hour tail-end Tarky stream” for obvious reasons: sleep is for the weak.
The trolls shall never be distracted. A user jokes: “Most of us have never cheated on our wives,” in reference to Doc’s infamous Twitch ban. Another commented, “old ahh pedo bru,” because, well, the internet never forgets. But hey, controversy keeps the Doc running, right?’
The better question: What does VIP access even consist of? Early gameplay? Exclusive skins? Personal shoutout from Doc himself? Nobody really knows. But when Dr Disrespect says minimum, you can put your last dollar on it meaning maximum chaos.
If you missed out on the stream, shouldn’t bother you. Knowing how Doc operates, it won’t be very long before he shows off that Gray Zone Warfare talent yet again. And with fans begging for a release on consoles, this might be the start of something big.
