Dr Disrespect went wild streaming two installments (Blockbusters) of a video game championship with “DROPS ON” plastered everywhere, and gamers had some THOUGHTS. The Doc just went ahead and said that he put “DROPS ON” in the title to gain some of that boost for the algorithm from EA himself. The reaction to that was mayhem; some fans, some roasting, and some angry asking for beta keys. Classic.
The announcement of the stream was a grenade tossed into a tight corridor in the gaming sphere, with people flooding the replies with nostalgia to blunt skepticism on the quality of Battlefield 6. One user, @SuitedSoldier, hit us right in the feels: “Aww this reminds me of the old days!!!” On the other hand, @Crazicdn173629 was just outright with the statement: “The game sucks.. :(” Whereas @5t0rmtr0ll3r had already predicted how the entire stream would go: “✅ lose in under 2 minutes ✅ everyone else is cheating ✅ whine the entire stream.” Harsh, but probably a truth.
But to be straight with you, that kind of hype could be found in the majority of replies. @Megatron0731 cried, “Ohhhh baby baby BF6 is about to be a whole new level,” and @Anthony89_E issued a warning, “Battlefield isn’t ready for all the VSM!” (That’s Violent Speed and Momentum for the uninitiated.) Meanwhile, @DonnieMcWhirter wanted Doc to “do something around BETA KEY GIVEAWAY.” Same here, Donnie. Same.
The energy arrived much stronger, and Doc was infectious. @dblzero_ stated, “Haven’t seen Doc this excited in awhile,” and honestly? That checks out. Battlefield streams with the Doc are spectacles—whether it’s him showing out or him probably blaming the game for his misplays. Then, just as we’re bringing that up, we can’t forget about the classic Doc-isms, like @BurzenFX cheering “DROPS ON yayayayaya,” or @Not1234W spitting goofball poetry, “Swoopy doopy DROPS Doc.”
But some also were not buying it. @Octopussandwic2 threw some shade: “Cool but 2042 will still be my main cause it’s complete ONLINE INSANITY!!!” while @Philminator cracked, “I was told I’d get banned for even talking about the game. I wish I was a Doctor…” Brutal. But yeah, that’s the Battlefield community—equal parts hype and salt.
Real question: How long will it be before Doctor calls that “hot kaka,” as so eloquently put by @saudbinjubear? Because, let’s be honest, there really ain’t nothing consistent about these Doc streams except for the game being either the best thing ever or utter trash—there’s never a middle ground. Heck, at least we’ve gotten to love that about him.
