Doctor-style chaos and contagion in the opening scenarios-the Doc has entered Warzone season 4 with some heat. The two-time champion supreme DrDisrespect had just announced a live stream, to be hosted with support from Bobby “Zero Blinks” Poff, dropping them into the brand new downtown tower. Just that tweet had gamers bubbling, with replies covering the gamut from “hyped” to people ridiculing the game. Well, that is Doc’s world-chaos, fun, and loss of brain cells.
The stream commenced with some fireworks, gamers rushing straight into the Nakamoto Tower, a vertical playground that is rubbing the Warzone community the wrong way. Some are of the opinion that it has changed the game; others…not so much. One of the replies even went on to state, “Did COD steal your idea about a vertical tower?”-an acknowledgement of Doc’s larger-than-life persona setting trends-whether intended or not.
For some of the respondents, Warzone isn’t so much a grind, though. One pleaded, “No more brain cells must be sacrificed, Doc. For silence on the ZLaner drama-now for those who have just been living under a rock and have no clue-these two streamers were once the Warzone streaming powerhouse; nowadays, they have been doing things on their own. A fan would plead straight-up, “Please reunite with @ZLaner. You’re just not the same without him.” Others, however, argue that Bobby Poff is the better partner, with one reply stating, “Bob and Ral always looking over Doc’s six.” Such a debate will continue, but one thing is clear: choices in Doc standing are almost as polarizing as the game.
And a stream announcement about Doc cannot go by without a little ego building. The thumbnail, of course, receiving a couple of shoutouts, with one fan calling it “HARDEST IMAGE OF THE STREAMING WORLD”. Meanwhile, one can only imagine the jokes about the AI not being able to keep up with Doc changing his thumbnails every other day. Classic.
Speaking of gameplay? The past streams might be an answer: a lot of domination, rage, and crazy acts that would make you question if they are real. Will he explore this new tower? Or will it just be another case of gameplay that some have dubbed as “snooze fest”? Whatever happens, there is one thing that is adamantly certain: entertainment.
